You do want Obama to do what is materially in the best interests of America, don't you? I emphasize materially to mean Obama getting something real and tangible from Japan this year rather than Obama bragging and flag-waving and chest-pounding about a victory 70 years in the past and thus making it harder to get what the Marines need in 2015.

Or do you prefer that Obama get the Japs angry for no useful purpose and worsen US military interests today? Should Obama place your delicate feelings ahead of what is best for the Marine airbase?
