Quote:A shootout between rival motorcycle gangs at a restaurant in Waco, Texas, left nine people dead and plunged the surrounding neighbourhood into chaos on Sunday afternoon, while dozens of police officers tried to head off further violence. A fight broke out between "criminal biker gangs" at around 12.15pm local time inside a Twins Peaks restaurant in a shopping centre and quickly spilled into the parking lot, a spokesman for the Waco Police Department said. Sergeant Patrick Swanton, the spokesman, said the confrontation had started as a parking dispute and quickly escalated from a fistfight to a melee involving chains, knives, clubs and, ultimately, gunfire. Swanton said that the authorities had been aware of the potential for violence at the restaurant on Sunday and that at least 12 Waco police officers had been stationed outside, as well as several officers from the Texas Department of Public Safety and SWAT officers. A McLennan County deputy stands guard near a group of bikers in the parking lot of a Twin Peaks restaurant. The bikers opened fire when the police moved in to break up the fight, Sergeant Swanton said, and the officers returned fire. He said eight bikers had been killed on the scene and that one more had been declared dead at a local hospital. Numerous other people were injured, he said, but no police officers were hurt. Sergeant Swanton described the Twin Peaks parking lot as "a pretty gruesome scene," littered with shell casings, knives, clubs and dead bodies. He said 18 people had been taken to local hospitals with a combination of gunshot and stab wounds. "There are still bodies on the scene of Twin Peaks," he said. "There are bodies scattered in the parking lot of the adjoining business." Authorities investigate a shooting in the parking lot of the Twin Peaks restaurant. The police detained "numerous individuals" involved in the fight, Sergeant Swanton said, and arrested three bikers, carrying weapons, who were caught trying to reach the scene after the fighting had quieted down. He said they would be charged with "engaging in organised crime." The police closed the shopping centre, Central Texas Market Place, and ordered people to leave the premises. Several hours after the fight began, the Waco police warned residents not to go to the area. "Officers are continuing to arrest individuals coming to the scene with weapons," the department said in a message posted on Facebook. "This is not the time to sight see as we are dealing with very dangerous individuals." Law enforcement officers talk to a man near the parking lot of the Waco restaurant. Sergeant Swanton said the law enforcement officers were stationed outside the restaurant on Sunday because of previous trouble there. "We have been made aware in the last few months of rival biker gangs - rival criminal biker gangs - being here and causing issues," he said at a news conference. "We have attempted to work with the local management of Twin Peaks to get that cut back, to no avail; they have not been of much assistance to us." Sergeant Swanton said it would be "fair" to say that the fight was the worst violence in Waco since the siege on the Branch Davidian compound in 1993 that left 86 people dead. The Twin Peaks restaurant is part of a national chain, and the Waco location opened last year, with company officials promoting it as the "ultimate man-cave," with 24 types of beer and at least 55 flat-screen televisions. The restaurant also features a "Bike Night" on Thursdays. New York Times

I got the fact that it made no sense, and as far as I know, Fox (which I hate) has not labeled them thugs.

Had they been black, they'd have been labeled "thugs" in about 0.2 seconds. Same with the armed "peaceful protesters" at the mosque in Arizona. If it were a group of armed Muslims parading outside a Baptist church in Whacko, the right wing would be shitting its pants more than Ted Nugent in their rush to label them as "thugs" or "terrorists". But as long as it's whitey, no harm, no foul. Why won't Fox talk about white-on-white crime? Did you know most people murdered in the U.S. are murdered by white people? Why is Fox keeping silent about it? And, as I said, the whole point went WAY over your head.

Blacks only make up 13% of the population and that number includes those who do not consider themselves Black but the census does. Still Blacks manage to kill each other at alarming rates.

Jay Dobyns spent nearly 30 years undercover infiltrating the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club for the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms.
