I don't have xb360 yet. Might get it for Christmas, I just don't know. Wonderin' if I should use my Halo2 tag or try something different.

Anyway, I like PS3 MUCH better...but I never would have sprung for the $600+ bucks to buy it. So while I recomend PS3, if money is a big factor, then 360 is fine.

I note for the record that PS3 will play standard DVDs and Blue Ray Disks. I really can't tell the difference, but some people think thats important.

XBox live is awesome, no question. Should I ever take the next step up, I'm gonna stay w/ the 360. I've had my XBox repaired already, ( got a great deal on that ) so really this machine isn't as old as it would be. My problem is , if I'm not ever going to use 1/10th of my XBox's capacity, why would I upgrade to a 360 that has even MORE power and memory ?
