Then I read about the casting M. Knight Shamylan has done.

Too pissed to correctly express myself right now about it.

Dude, he's always been a jackass, it's like he reads too many chick tracts or something, cause he's got racial, sexist and religious *issues* and they show.

I ain't even all that fond of the show in question, save for that my niece kinda likes it, and I get the impression that Toph Bei Fong is a lotta why, since from what little I've seen of it, Toph is as rude, crude and obnoxious as SHE is...

Still, it deserved something better than a guy I consider little better than Uwe Boll, and have no intention of supporting the inevitable travesty that's gonna result - fan backlash on this is gonna be painful.

See, I'm the kinda guy who gets pissed at small changes, like the "Not Blue" tattoos, but then, I started reading the other articles about it, and how Night said that he would try to put his own interpretation of the characters into the movie. That of course made me think, "WTF needs interpretation! The characters are right freakin' there!" That gave me more doubts about the movie(s). I'm not wasting my money on "The Last Airbender."

Edit: I'll try to find the article where he said, that he'd put his own spin on the charactes. I'll be back.
