Gettin' old, but still a hippie at heart...
Quote:As Ronald Reagan might say, there Donald Trump goes again. The business tycoon and publicity hound has once again said he's seriously thinking about running for president in the Republican field – a move that, while still unlikely, would fundamentally change the dynamics of the race and is hard not to make note of. "I am thinking about things. And I'm looking at this country…and what's happened in terms of respect. And the respect for this country is just not there," Trump told ABC in an interview that aired Thursday. "I have many people from China that I do business with, they laugh at us. They feel we're fools. And almost being led by fools. And they can't believe what they're getting away with." He also insisted a President Trump would put an end to China's currency manipulation and trade advantages, as well as restore America's respect around the world. "Would I rather be in the race or not be in the race? I can tell you, I love what I'm doing, said Trump. "I'm having a great time what I'm doing. I'd rather not be in the race. But it could be fun because I'd like to see some positive things happen for the country." On MSNBC Thursday, Trump also offered this assessment of President Obama: "He's a nice man, [but] I think he's totally in over his head." Of course, political watchers have seen this song and dance before, as Trump seems to mull a presidential run nearly every cycle – and especially when one of his reality shows is on the air. Still, Trump has now at least put a timetable on his decision, kind of: "I'm going to make a decision probably by June," he said.
