I always hear politicians, news media, and talking heads always bringing up civil servants...

"He's dedicated 40 yrs. in civil service...."

"Policemen and firefighters sacrifice so much to serve their communities...."

Etc....

When these people take our money and pay themselves 2.2X what we make in the private sector.....I have to ask who are the servants and who is doing the sacrifice? Who do these fucks think they are fooling? Is a congressman who spends forty yrs there doing us a service? How bout the volunteer firefighter? Is he not serving the public in a much more sacrificial way? When the feds have to step in and bail out state pensions... who is that serving? Why should I have to pay for outragous california state pension benefits? If a state makes outragous promises to its employees and can't do it. Why should the feds help with the rest of America's money. This whole civil service shit seems like one hell of a scam.

I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

First of all, I find it oh so characteristic that you vent on civil servants ... who actually perform a service... and not on banksters and CEOs who appear to do nothing more than defraud the public and line their pockets. Because, really... when you add up all of the wealth of the top 0.1%, civil servants barely make a blip.

Second, maybe if you didn't suck corporate dick so hard, you might actually GET more money. You're constantly spouting the corporate message and bending over for their sweet ministrations. Has it ever occurred to you to maybe join a union? Push for higher minimum wage? Take a more managerial approach to the business you're in... whatever that is? Assuming that you're not just trolling the board 24/7 on public funds? Cause I gotta say: you seem to have an INORDINATE amount of time to get drunk and sit at the keyboard, so I wonder what you do for a living, if anything.
