DREAMTROVE

Okay, Sorry, I now realize that people will think this is a Summer Glau reference when really it was a Marcie Ross reference, on the theory that everyone who has seen Firefly has seen Buffy, and therefore will get the reference, because anything that happens in a one minute scene in the middle of the eleventh episode of the series, that being "Out of Sight, Out of Mind," is going to stick with y'all forever, because you know it is.

Enough time wasted.

It was that we* didn't write anything for Wishimay in the warm fuzzy Riona thread, which she started because she's warm and fuzzy.
* and that we is excluding Riona who mentioned her.

It's like writing Have a Nice Summer! in her yearbook. I figured, quick, before she becomes invisible, to take a thread to notice WishIMay. Alas, I still have nothing to say, other than some threads about her kids, and like me, she has no firefly content entries, blue sun room fanfic etc. stuff.

I thought I'd create a thread to make sure WishIMay doesn't become invisible. She seems a good sort, and the world of RWED is treacherous and cruel. Also, there are politics. It's like sharks, gotta watch out for them. (you're running into people's beliefs and perceptions of why the world works the way they think it does, and that can be dangerous.)

I see we had a pretty large number of conversations and none of them were on RWED. About pirates and steampunk and playing a violin on a boat in a cave, I see I didn't fit the bow and arrows in there, it fits nicely with the violin.
(What? No one on google images thought to notch an arrow in a violin bow?)

It's been a very stressful year. Feels like it's all slipping away. In case you can't tell, I also have insomnia at the moment.

Starting with the name, is it an ani difranco reference?

Yeah, it is unfortunate that a lot of people were omitted in that thread.

Wishimay: conservative, cares about children, probably a pillar of society in real life. You may make me mad sometimes, but you're not invisible.

I am greatly enjoying the advent of summer. I love the summer sun here.

America loves a winner!

That was real pretty DT.

Very well said.

And about Buffy... it's funny how, like most of Joss's work, there's always those random 1 liners, seemingly so irrelevant at the time, which some how just stick in the mind, and turn up at the least expected times.

Wish and I are usually like peas-n-carrots on most things, it seems, but we do disagree a mite on some others. I'm glad she's here, every time she's here, because she gives good balance on some crucial issues.

Freedom is Important because People are Important

Hello,

A desire to change the world and eliminate injustice is the fundamental component to visionaries and humanitarians.

Wish I may, wish I might, I can't fathom a character trait that's more right.

I went through once a random episode, it was I think #13, When she was bad, and picked out 19 unique phrases coined for that episode and looked them up as domain names to find that they were all taken, and a handful were actively running websites. I think joss and the joss team are good at that.

ETA: Looking back, the only conversations I've had with her are in basically every section of the site except for RWED. I don't really have a reason for that, just how it turned out.
