Just to give us a much-needed break from all the bickering:

Heeere they come!

I loved this one from VW (well, the first half anyway; the second half is pretty lame):

One of Doritos' several winners was pretty cute, too...and VERY low budget:

Apparently the dog's actual owner is head of the local SPCA, and thinks the ad is hilarious.

The blooper reel is cute, too:

One of their other finalists, "Bird of Prey", also made me giggle:

Not to mention this one:

Freedom is Important because People are Important

Hello,

When their original 'Vader kid' commercial turned out to be a big hit, they decided to roll with it.

Yeah, I got that, but I think, while the original was neat, that they should have left that last part off. Not only wasn't it particularly good or amusing (to me), it took away from the first half, which WAS both inventive and funny. Some things stand best on their own, and the second half was like reaching for a "sequel" to the original. Just my opinion.

Just a bit curious what sort of permission VW had to get from Lucas, if any. I'm sure he was eager to give his blessing, after the first ad was such a hit. Makes me wonder.... IS Lucas a NAZI ?
