United States Marshals in Salt Lake City, Utah have arrested Gregory Nathan Peterson, 37, of Orem, Utah, and charged him with raping four women, three whom he met via online LDS dating sites and another whom he met at an LDS church function. One report details that he attacked one woman one day after a GOP political event.



The alleged attacks which are known are said to have occurred since March 2011 and at least one of them took place at a cabin used by Peterson in Heber, Utah for political events. This victim alleges she went to a movie with Peterson in late March 2011 who then drove to the cabin where she was raped throughout the night under the threat Peterson had a gun. During the drive she was forced to perform oral sex on Peterson and the victim says Peterson slapped her in the face.

In July 2011 another woman was taken by force to both the cabin in Heber overnight and to Peterson’s mother’s home for two days; the victim was raped at both locations. This victim alleges Peterson threatened to have her deported if she did not comply with his demands for sexual intercourse. The third and fourth women were assaulted in their homes.

Peterson is known to have been active in the organization of the Rocky Mountain Conservatives annual convention and barbeque. The site for the RMC has been taken down as of this morning.
