"We'll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false." -- William Casey, Reagan's presidential campaign manager & CIA Director (from first staff meeting in 1981)

Rappy says "the Left" (Always capitalized. Always.) doesn't want anyone to talk about or look at the economy.

Really?

By all means, let's do talk about the economy.

Let's start with Mitt Romney's own economy:

Let's discuss the Dow Jones and NASDAQ.

Let's talk about the auto industry and the banks.

Let's talk about consecutive months of job growth.

Let's talk about the fact that if, as Republicans claim, trickle-down and tax cuts for the rich really work, then Dubya would have been the keynote speaker at the RNC. Instead, he wasn't even invited, and was barely mentioned at all. Just like his daddy.

So again, let us PLEASE talk about the economy.

"I supported Bush in 2000 and 2004 and intellegence [sic] had very little to do with that decision." - Hero

Mitt Romney, introducing his running mate: "Join me in welcoming the next President of the United States, Paul Ryan!"

Rappy's response? "You're lying, gullible ( believing in some BS you heard on msnbc ) or hard of hearing."

A Romney supporter clarifies Mitt's plan for the economy:

And Kwindbago's output has fallen to the level of PN. A thread of 3 posts, all of which are Kwindbago replying to himself.

The president's job is to create conditions where people have confidence and feel safe to invest. Everybody with cash looks at his policies and is too afraid to make an investment. Yeah, it's Obummer's policies that are failing. Thanks for asking.

Good old Troll, living up to his name - a personal attack, and then opinion backed by nothing - and then pretend it refutes the evidence posted.

Douche.

Note to anyone - Please pity the poor, poor wittle Rappyboy. He's feeling put upon lately, what with all those facts disagreeing with what he believes.

"Goram it kid, let's frak this thing and go home! Engage!"

Do as I say, not as I do?

Sure, it would look like that to one who ignores context. I made what miight be construed as a personal attack, yes - but in response to what was a unprovoked personal attack made to distract from the content of the actual thread.

Troll attacked outright - I merely commented upon the behavior.

Troll also claimed the cited info was false, with nothing to back it up. I did no such thing, and merely pointed to the lack of actual information - presenting opinion as fact.

So, yeah, if you leave out what actually happened, it might seem like you claim - but that's a big "if." Though granted, anyone who would be on Troll's side would be the type to willfull ignore such context.

Which is your standard M.O., IMHO. So I ask again, do as I say, not as I do?

Which is what I am doing to you.

I would like to think RWED is big enough for both fact and opinion. Of course that is only my opinion, not fact.

I am not for Troll per se, merely against you. And that is, in fact, my opinion.

Bully for you. You can comment on what I said. Doesn't change the truth of my break-down, nor who jumped in with the unprovoked attack.

Though you claim you're doing the same - but missing that my comments were not unprovoked, so you lose on that count. Like I said, it is as you say - IF one ignores what actually happened. Thanks for backing me up on that.

Which I find ironic, too, since I was assured that "the [Always Capitalized] Left" was afraid to even bring up "the economy, stupid". So I brought it up. Three times. And not a single right-winger - including you, Troll - has had a damn thing to say about it that's relevant to anything at all.

Do you think Americans are a bunch of wilting flowers, a bunch of sissies afraid to invest or take a chance? You certainly take a dim view of "American exceptionalism", don't you?

You think we're supposed to guarantee positive outcomes for everybody? In your little world, does everybody get a trophy, too?

Oh, I forgot - you won't talk to me since I handed you your ass on the F&F threads.

Funny, I don't think the job description in the Constitution says that. Can you quote me from the Article?

Gettin' old, but still a hippie at heart...

Shees, more immature schoolyard tit-for-tat.

"The CONGRESS' job is to HELP THE PRESIDENT create conditions where people have confidence and feel safe to invest." That is patently what this congress has refused to do, obstructing Obama and the Dems' every effort to improve conditions.

"Everybody with cash looks at this do-nothing Congress and "Party of No":and is too afraid to make an investment."

Yup, that's about it in a nutshell.
