"We'll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false." -- William Casey, Reagan's presidential campaign manager & CIA Director (from first staff meeting in 1981)

Saved the state the cost of a trial and everything.

Quote:

A prominent Republican and Tea Party activist who was recently charged with raping five women, was found dead at his cabin in Heber, Utah.

Greg Peterson was a major Republican and Tea Party activist who was known to hold events at his cabin in Heber, Utah. Peterson created the "Rocky Mountain Conservatives" group and was a loud voice for the political right. The Rocky Mountain Conservatives held BBQ events each year to help raise awareness in an attempt to elect conservatives to local and state office. In July of this year, Peterson was charged with raping five women and was put in jail until posting $2 million to fulfill his bail obligations.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, Peterson plead not guilty to 23 charges of rape, kidnapping and assault, and the five women all testified against him, claiming to meet Peterson at church and internet dating sites. After Peterson's ankle bracelet wasn't responding, two bail bondsman were sent to Peterson's cabin where they found him dead of an apparent suicide.

He won't be missed. Wonder if he got to vote before he croaked himself (if that's what really happened. I have yet to see any pictures of Mitt Romney in his campaign's sitch room while all this was going on...)

I'm not a fan of the death penalty, but I'm occasionally okay with suicide.

Mitt Romney, introducing his running mate: "Join me in welcoming the next President of the United States, Paul Ryan!"

Rappy's response? "You're lying, gullible ( believing in some BS you heard on msnbc ) or hard of hearing."
