I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

This in in reply to rappy's idiot post (does he post any other kind?) about a single Democrat who engaged in voter fraud. His knickers are in a twist because, by god, when there's one there might be... well.... millions. (Sounds like his problem with imaginary voter fraud is pretty much like his problem with imaginary WMD, doesn't it? )

In a deliberate and open perversion of democracy, the Republican political party managed to engineer such widespread jerrymandering that- despsite the fact that millions more people voted Democract than Republican, Republicans still dominate the House.
Quote:

Wisconsinites leaned Democratic when they went to the polls last month, voting to re-elect President Obama, choosing Tammy Baldwin to be their new United States senator and casting more total votes for Democrats than Republicans in races for Congress and the State Legislature.

Pennsylvanians also voted to re-elect Mr. Obama, elected Democrats to several statewide offices and cast about 83,000 more votes for Democratic Congressional candidates than for Republicans. But new maps drawn by Republicans — including for the Seventh District outside Philadelphia, a Rorschach-test inkblot of a district snaking through five counties that helped Representative Patrick Meehan win re-election by adding Republican voters — helped ensure that Republicans will have a 13-to-5 majority in the Congressional delegation that the state will send to Washington next month.

Republican-drawn lines also helped Republicans win lopsided majorities in other swing states Mr. Obama won: Democratic Congressional candidates won nearly half the votes in Virginia but only 27 percent of its seats, and 48 percent of the vote in Ohio but only a quarter of its seats.

Why not just draw districts by zip code? It's be a lot more democratic than the bullshit currently going on. (and now, we get to hear rappy explain why this isn't really fraud because it's the Republican party that's doing it.)

Rappy will no doubt applaud this. It's his side, so of course it's okay.

And then he'll go back to demanding to know why we're ignoring his imaginary crisis.

All this gerrymandering bullshit is obscene. A distortion of democracy. And they're still pushing it - trying to game the system even more. Thankfully there are even those on the right who have spoken out against this practice. Meanwhile, we need to keep fighting these efforts.

Dems not liking the outcomes of elections = GOP cheating.

Dem poll workers openly cheating isn't proof that Dems cheat in elections.

Got it.

No, VOTE COUNTS show that Dems got millions more votes than Repubs, but the percentage of elected officials is different by a factor of two. Hmmm... how can that be?

And, to address your other point (such as it is)... ONE Dem engaging in vote fraud does not mean that "Dems" (generically) engage in vote fraud. I swear, you don't have the faintest clue where reality leaves off and your imagination begins. No wonder you're so confused.

I don't think his intelligence begins anywhere.

Though did I call it, or what?

You act as if only the GOP engage in gerrymandering voting districts, when it's common by both parties. So, your feigned outrage is comical.

Has there been a court case which supports your claims on this matter ?

Any proof that there's been 'cheating' by the GOP ? As I understand it, states are free to draw districts as they see fit, provided they adhere to the 1965 Voting Rights Act.

It's not fraud.

And no, Storybook, you didn't call it. I applauded nothing. Just stated the facts.

Per usual.

U mad ?

Funny, how you always think you're making me mad. Do you think Id keep coming back if that were true??? (Actually, as dumb as you are... you probably really do believe that. Good. Otherwise, you might stop bringing the funny.)

You amuse the living hell out of me, boy. I'm gonna be at this as long as you keep posting your idiotic bullshit.

Speaking of Voter Fraud, here's a new twist:

If at first you don't succeed, find a new way to cheat..................

In Michigan the voters must feel like their vote really counts. What this new law does is affect the poorly managed districts of the state's counties.
The majority of those counties happen to be populated by minorities - mostly black neighborhoods. Of course the article doesn't go into that, I found this out by watching the Rachel Maddow show.
