It turns out, according to the Associated Press, that Boston Bombing mastermind Tamerlan Tsarnaev was a big fan of Alex Jones. And many members of his family still are fans of the conspiracy theorist.

In an interview with Buzzfeed, Alex Jones tried to change the story. While admitting that the elder brother “probably was a fan” he then proclaimed his innocence. In the interview, Alex Jones said: "It could be true. I’ve talked to the family and most of them are listeners."

He then turned the tables, claiming that the government was out to get him: "I’ve seen this before. The federal government trying to connect me to tragedies. That’s the media and the government’s own conspiracy theories."

But the facts in this case remain, the FBI has video footage of Tamerlan Tsaranaev, a man who Alex Jones admits was likely a fan of his show, placing these bombs at the Boston Marathon. This is not the first time a fan of Mr. Jones took these conspiracies to the point that crimes were performed. When Richard Paplawski went on a shooting spree in 2009, Alex Jones tried to whitewash the fact of Mr. Paplawski’s heavy readership of Alex Jones’ website, Infowars. This is the beginning of Alex Jones’ new tactic to try to cover up his involvement, of how he fed Tamerlan Tsarnaev the conspiracies.

Alex Jones engages in a form of terrorism known as Stochastic Terrorism. Using his websites, radio shows and web streamed material, he purposefully distorts, lies, and deceives his audience:
