Gettin' old, but still a hippie at heart...

Absolutely ridiculous! They hold this "contest" every year up in Petaluma, and this is what took the "prize" this year:

He's a beagle/basset/boxer cross, but UGLY?!? Hardly! He doesn't hold a CANDLE to previous contenders!

2012:

2011:

2010 only got it, in my opinion, because of her deformed front feet:

2009:

2008:

2007:

I mean, seriously! I call foul...somebody got paid off!

REAVERFAN

They're all adorable, in their own way. I'm sure their owners think so.

No argument from me there; it's the dog inside that counts. And some are SO ugly they're cute!

But do you consider 2013's winner "ugly"?? I sure don't! I'm calling for a Daryll Issa investigation, I'm SURE Obama's behind it!

NEWOLDBROWNCOAT

He looks pretty normal for a beagle/ basset cross breed to me. But I gotta say, there is something wrong about those basset hound legs and feet...

But then again I knew a beagle/dalmatian cross when I was a kid- Dalmatian body, legs, etc, black and white spots, with a brown beagle head and those ears on top. Funny looking, but a very sweet personality.

Oh, now that's reeely weird! Wonder if it was a very determined beagle or Dalmatian with low self-esteem?
