Sadly, Rap doesn't see the true irony. If pretty much anyone else had made that remark, we'd all have laughed and thought "bad joke" or something. Because of his long, repetitive history, it seemed plausible he WOULD make such a remark seriously.

In other words, he's painted himself into such a corner, he can't even make a joke without clarifying that it IS a joke.

Of course, it wasn't. Never more clearly did Rap betray the fact that he's not here for rational, intelligent discussion, but only to play a troll's game of goading people into responding, than he did just now.

Rap just pulled a cute one; he took a page straight out of Faux News. He posted the quote "'The Butler' Director: America 'More Racist' Since Obama Became President; 'People Are Angry...Showing Their True Colors'", with context which indicates that it shows BLACK people are showing their "true colors". The actual article:

In other words, it's the RACISTS who are showing their "true colors", and Rap just used those few words to try and make the opposite point.

As to Sunny...all Porties are black; some have white chests, as mentioned, but the vast majority of them are black all over. They originally got Bo because Porties are supposedly hypoallergenic and Malia has allergies. In actuality, there is no scientifically-proven "hypoallergenic breed" of dog. Those who are labeled that way, such as Porties, Schnauzers and Poodles for example, got the label because they shed less. I assume that's been sufficient to make Bo a good pet for Malia, since they got a second one.

As to Sunny's name, I'm surprised you didn't get it, Kiki: the remarks by both zit and Rap were INTENDED to be offensive, had nothing to do with the dog's actual name or breed. Might mention to Rap that there is no hyphen in Pitbull. It's either Pitbull or Pit Bull Terrier.

Heard some jokes about this.

One was somethinbg like, "How can you trust a president who breaks his promises? He told his kids after the last election he wouldn't get another dog, and now he has."

Also noted that to try and ease Middle East tensions, the new dog was actually named Sunni. This after finding that the old dog, Bo, sometimes Shi'ite on the lawn.
