Quote:Top diplomats from Iran and six major world powers said early Sunday that an agreement has been reached in Geneva on the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program. The interim deal is reportedly not the final say on Iran’s nuclear program—its officials declare Iran has the right to enrichment—but instead one that will last for six months. For five days, negotiators had struggled to overcome differences and form a deal that would halt the weaponization of Iran’s nuclear program in exchange for relief from sanctions that have crippled its economy. Michael Mann, the spokesperson for Catherine Ashton, the E.U.’s top foreign policy diplomat, tweeted, “We have reached agreement between E3+3 and Iran.” Minutes later, Mohammad Javad Zarif, Iran’s foreign minister, weighed in via Twitter as well, saying, ”We have reached an agreement.” A message was also sent from the Twitter account of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani: “Iranian people’s vote for #moderation & constructive engagement + tireless efforts by negotiating teams are to open new horizons. #IranTalks.” http://world.time.com/2013/11/23/officials-iran-nuke-deal-reached-in-geneva/#ixzz2lWph3YeW
