I missed it too. I was doing some power catch up viewing of Defiance, On Demand. ( Yeah, I'll skip near whole seasons of a show, and then catch up in a few days. )

Lea Thompson is making a bit of a come back, staring w/ Nick Cage in that Left Behind movie.

So, what Homeland Security was telling everyone that there was no imminent threat from terrorist Islamic groups, I guess the White House and Pentagon saw differently ?

Is this administration truly this incompetent, or is this all planned confusion, right before the election ?

I think it's a bit of both. Utter incompetence, with a convoluted plan to ramp up war support for a demoralized President, who is being dragged kicking and screaming into a war he's never wanted, and told everyone was already over.

The Islamic nut jobs didn't get the memo, Barry.

Kirby: “It’s little bit of both right now, Andrea. I mean, the prime focus in Syria has been — most of it in the last few days on strategic targets, things that get into their ability to sustain themselves. That’s why we hit those oil refineries, and we hit more over the weekend. And you’re also starting to see that the target has changed a little bit in Syria, to include some tactical targets as well, some vehicles and some check points and that kind of thing. So we are mixing it up a little bit and we are hitting them a little bit harder there in the north and still in Raqqa as well.”
