The number of cases has topped 10,000. Wow, that many??? It seems like it was 5,000 just a few weeks ago! Oh that's right- it was! The mathematics of exponential growth is compelling.

There was also an Ebola death in Mali, adding one more nation to the list of affected nations, and adding to the concern that more countries would become engulfed in epidemic. Whatever is going on in Africa, it isn't enough to stop this thing.
