And, even though they are considered part of the MSM, they are not considered puppets of the liberal MSM. Do we agree on this? Okay. I came across an article (I will attach it at the bottom) that reports on doctors that protested months before (Sept. 2009) Congress voted on the ACA and threatened to quit practicing medicine were that to happen. 45% said they would quit, some 360,000 doctors all across the country. They cited forced rules and regs, declining reimbursements would drive them out of the business. I was kind of surprised to see that doctors, after years of establishing their practice and paying off mortgages, their children's college bills and student loans, that they would be willing to voluntarily walk away from all that. Well, the ACA passed. Not only did those doctors stay, they were joined by some 100,000 new physicians in the last 6 years. The article went on to say that there were other reasons for those doctors to quit. The aging of doctors across America and technology. "In an essay carried in hundreds of newspapers, and originally called “Why Doctors Quit,” Krauthammer argued that the Obama administration has “demoralized doctors and degraded care” by pushing providers to quickly adopt electronic health records, known in shorthand as EHRs". The aging doctors were either unwilling or unable to go with the latest technology to improve productivity. Presenting a streamlined system, saving time and money, to doctors set in their ways. No easy task. The Digital Age was fast coming to the Health Care system, that was in bad need of an overhaul (hence the ACA), and here you have older doctors resisting the inevitable, earmarked for the good of all. Read the article, it's interesting. But No, doctors quitting is not because of Obamacare. http://www.forbes.com/sites/dandiamond/2015/06/02/why-doctors-really-quit/ SGG

Yes, Obamacare is forcing Docs to leave due to electronic filing, and forcing Docs to spend far too much time filling out these reports (which is non-billable time) instead of treating patients which they prefer. I sure hope the next time you need the services of a surgeon, you will be happy getting cut by one that just spend half their day poking at their computer "electronic reports" until their hands and fingers are numb. You are a genius.
