Fucking dirty scumbag governor claims that he would allow his grandchildren to bathe in that water.

Really!

Come to find out that the more affluent part of town, in which the governor resides, was getting clean uncontaminated water, while the poorer sections were getting the freshly "treated" Michigan water.

"Virginia Tech engineering professor Marc Edwards, an expert on water quality, was sent to Flint to study the water supply. His team found extremely high levels of lead, and Edwards said that authorities' actions "exposes a new level of arrogance and uncaring that I have never encountered."

After conducting that study, they developed a map showing where the crux of the problem lay. As I was watching an MSNBC report, the map was revealed, showing the different sections, in Flint, where the heavily contaminated water was. I was not surprised.......I was mad. The fucking arrogance of the governor and other top officials. THEY KNEW........a pediatrician, Dr. Mona Hanna-Attisha, reported her findings of high levels of lead poisoning among children, but was ignored and ridiculed by the governor and his staff.

Recently, to appease an angry public and mounting pressure from the press,
Snyder appointed her to his task force on the issue. Fucking dickhead!
Thousands of innocent children poisoned and ruined for life, so that he and
his staff could save a few dollars; without so much as testing the waters.

http://www.cnn.com/2016/01/21/health/flint-water-mona-hanna-attish/

The governor even had the fucking balls to refuse a federal order to produce documents to the government regarding his fiduciary and public trust failure.

I'm going to stop here because I'm thoroughly disgusted with the excuse for
a human being. I hope they fucking fry his ass. He belongs in jail, if there's any JUSTICE.

Snyder should be criminally investigated. PERIOD!

In a nutshell.

Freeze all of his assets, and then deport his ass to Somalia.

Unfortunately, there's probably nothing but a conga-line of corrupt politicians waiting to take the place of Snyder, and anyone else who could be involved.

You're probably right, but he should still get locked up for criminal negligence or, at the very least, freeze all his assets and make him drink the water.

Look at that face, GUILTY as sin! He's shitting a brick because hopefully soon he will be indicted on fraud charges.......impersonating a human being.

From what I understand: He cut social services, but gave a tax break to the wealthy, the 1%. Plus he had a surplus of over $1 Billion dollars in the state coffers; Fucking disgusting excuse for a human being. Helpless innocent children will be scarred for life because of this disgusting evil
son of a bitch. May he burn a thousand times over in HELL for what he did.

Resigning is too good for him. Make him drink the Flint water every day until the state government fixes the problem; then throw his ass in jail with no food or water. Then leave him alone in a room with the parents of the Flint children.

The DOJ should investigate his ass.

I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

First the trial. THEN hang 'em high. And then put his head on a pike at the entrance to City Hall

The funny thing is, I just read a report that said that a staffer who worked for the water division had actually proposed a different plan with MORE cost savings, which didn't involve using river-water at all. She proposed

1) Rewriting water contracts to modern standards
2) Changing the Detroit-to-Flint water crossover to reduce elevation and distance, and
3) Upgrading the water-treatment plant that Flint already had, to handle surge demand.

Would have been cheaper.

It's not just about saving money, it's pure callous anti-human corruption.

The latest: Congress voted to send emergency money to correct the man-made Flint Water to the tune of $400M, but on the condition that the state put up
an equal amount.

What could go wrong?

I say appoint or vote for a Special Prosecutor to investigate Snyder and have a federal official overview the Flint Water Supply restoration.

I haven't seen one of these in a while. He seems even angrier than before - I don't recall the f-bombs. Good though, sad and funny, but truth. I seem to recall... was it McCain even? That wanted to reform campaign finance? Lobbyists and private finance have to go, that has been obvious for decades. The only question is how? Who's going to say they don't want funding, because that's essentially what would happen. Problem is you plug one hole and they just find another. Still, making it illegal incentivizes journalists to bust them if they go outside the rules.

I'd be a terrible governor because I spend every penny in the treasury and then some. We'd have the best parks, free public transportation on raised monorail, modern infrastructure, schools with every advanced learning gizmo that tested well, and our air would smell like a pine forrest. All of our children would be giants & geniuses. I'd write checks as fast as they could print them. And then, when they hauled me away, I'd glance over my shoulder and look at all the amazing things we built. Ha! What a good dream.

Yep.

Too bad Frem isn't around here anymore, he has a lot of choice things to say about this whole situation.

Exactly Byte! Yes, all the infrastructure was compromised by their foolish
notion, plus, as I read and watch more about this callous act, it's downright criminal. I agree with Michael Moore, throw the fuckers in jail, or, at the very least, make them bathe and drink the water. Then let's talk about fixing the problem.

One thing I could say without hesitation - Snyder should go to jail, and the corporations that benefitted from the millions in tax breaks, should be
made to fork over the $400 million to match what Congress has voted to help the situation. Yes, it will cost millions, perhaps billions, but it must be done. First stop - the poorer neighborhoods that have been affected. Plus I think it would behoove the Feds not to allow Snyder to get his greedy little hands on a single penny. That should definitely be one of the conditions. A special administrator should be assigned to assure the people of Flint that it will go to the rebuilding of the water supply infrastructure. Give Snyder a taste of his own medicine, so to speak.

If he protests, FUCK HIM. Sue his ass for every penny or run him out of town on a rail (of course, after the customary tar and feathering). I think that would be a nice touch, don't you think. I seriously don't think the motherfucker will spend a single day in jail, as it should be. A special prosecutor should be appointed to investigate the filthy scumbag of a human being. For those who think the states have separate authority - think of the kids who will be brain damaged for life, then come and tell me he had every right, as governor, sworn to uphold the Constitution of the State, which I'm sure includes something about serving his constituents or the people of the state of Michigan.

Did he actually serve? He did everything in his power to sell out the people of the state. Did he know? Yes, according to State Rep. Sheldon Neely (D) Flint, he sent Snyder a letter back in January of 2015.

http://www.mlive.com/news/index.ssf/2016/01/flints_state_rep_says_he_w
arne.html

Dr. Mona Hanna-Attisha sounded the alarm as far back as 2014, almost 2 years ago, about the staggering numbers of lead in children, especially in the poorer neighborhoods. She says that she was met with ridicule and disdain by government officials. She was literally labeled a "kook" and
that she was causing hysteria. In May of 2015 Snyder, in order to appease
the good doctor and the people of Flint, appointed her to his "Task" Force.
An obvious political move to deter his critics and deflect obvious venom
at his handling of the man-made crisis. He knew, he was warned by experts in the field. He just didn't give a shit, or he thought it would go away.

He's still basically at it too, still trying to pretend like nothing's happening, and skimming off the charity that comes in (from what I hear). I'm amazed he hasn't been arrested yet, but then I guess he controls the local cops. It'd have to be the Feds that take him in.

A couple of things Byte:

For one, the Feds are sending an army to investigate including the DOJ, FBI, EPA criminal division, among others.

http://markmaynard.com/2016/01/the-feds-are-investigating-the-snyder-a
dministrations-role-in-poisoning-the-children-of-flint
/

But to call this a disaster is an insult to disasters, this was a criminal act. How so? Because the governor and his appointees were told by experts in the field that the water was contaminated and they ignored the experts.
They told the good people of Flint to drink and bathe in the water, that it was safe.

I just finished watching a clip from a Congressional hearing, where Rep. Elijah Cummings, a ranking member, tore into the Oversight Committee for not having called Snyder in to testify.

http://crooksandliars.com/2016/02/rep-cummings-blasts-oversight-chair

It's like baking a cake without the batter, or putting a crook into jail and leaving the door unlocked. WTF!? He was the main reason for all of this
happening, how could you not call him in to question. Whoever he hired as the PR firm must be working overtime, but sooner or later he must answer to the public. Something has to give.

As an aside, to my fellow travelers here on FFF.net, the ones that constantly skewer the MSM. How about now? This has been possible because
the MSM MSNBC would not give up on this story. And it is important because it affects all of us. Water, clean water should be a right. We should have the backs of the good people of Flint because that could be any one of us.
Instead of being afraid of the black helicopters, be afraid of crooked politicians, any crooked politician, that appoint their cronies to serve
within their administration.

Had Snyder done his job in the first place, none of this would have happened (bankruptcy), but, to a certain extent, this falls on the good people of Flint. Keep their elected officials feet to the fire, like they are doing now. Make them respond and give you their attention. Infrastructure across this country must be worked on and maintained.

The latest in an astounding turn of events in Flint is that Snyder is still calling for a study. A STUDY! All the testing has shown that the water is not fit for human consumption. Now Is the time for action; time to remove the pipes and fix the problem already. Not one shovel has been dug into the ground, not one pipe has been replaced some 2 years later.

I think the first move that should made is ousting Snyder and his cohorts.
Then maybe we could start fixing things in Flint.

Why is this man still governor?
