Man.... I accidentally stumbled over this case I'd never heard about while testing out the cookies exploit for news sites on the WaPo.

So many things to unpack here.......

But I'll keep it brief for now because I have stuff to do today.

First off, I hope I'm not alone in how terrifying I think it is that there are thousands of text messages over the last 2 year period between the two that are being poured over. I mean, not terrifying for me since I don't text, but just the entire implication of it and the fact that this is what we sign up for when we click on "I Agree" without reading anything. (I'm sure we did it here at fff.net too when we signed up, as well as any place you type that isn't on a non-internet computer in your own word processor).

But second, I'm going to side with her on this one. She didn't kill him. She didn't give him the tools to kill himself. Hell... he was a big boy. Having already attempted it once, I'm sure he knew all the ways you could possibly do it and she wasn't even feeding him any information that he didn't know.

At most, get her some psychiatric help. She seems like a rather disturbed individual that is likely to off herself at any moment in time. I can't imagine the national attention and doubtless terrible things being said about her online every day are helping in that regard.

At the core, it's an issue of free speech.
