I have to say I was shocked by the video. It shows moderately modern buildings in Russia more than 2 stories high - incredible! Didn't know they possessed the tech for that.

It would be very hard for JO to give up on the idea of RUSSIA!RUSSIA! because he'd have to give up on the idea that he's incredibly smart and logicaland that he can see what other people can't see. His whole self-worth is tied up with that, and admitting he might be wrong about ... or worse, fooled with... something is just intolerable to him.
