Some predict the Dollar or the Western economy has troubles but let's look at the numbers and be honest here, Russia's currency is going to collapse first. The first Russian ruble replaced the Soviet ruble in September 1993 at parity or 1 SUR = 1 RUR. The ruble is the seventeenth most traded currency in the world, and is a floating currency or perhaps was a free-floating currency. Russia has faced steep economic sanctions due to the invasion of Ukraine in response to the Russia invasion military campaign, several countries imposed strict economic sanctions on the Russian economy.

Interesting take. Not one that successful bank fund managers are predicting, tho. The managers that ppl are paying attention to are predicting a collpase of the Euro-Dollar system.

(Nobody's even talking about the British pound anymore, despite the fact that Brits like to imagine that their banking system is Important to the Global Financial system.)

But in this Clash of the Titans, anything is possible.

I see this more of an acrimonious divorce, with one party (Russia) getting the assets (house, car, stocks... gold, energy, food, manufacturing/technology) and the other party (USA, Euro) getting the bank accounts (dollars, euros).

Which will be worth more in the long run? I dunno. My guess is that commodities and manufacturing will win out in the end, but taking on the west euro/dollar is not risk-free, so it might turn out outherwise.

Clearly, the west is going all-out to destroy Russia. It looks as if Joe* is preparing the soil for false flag (chemical/biological) attack with which to herd the Euro cats back into line. The level of USA neocon desperation is also an indicator of what THEY (western neocons) are internally predicting. So another thing to keep an eye on.
