Glad the media is starting to notice and/or admit what I've been saying for a long time.

Truth Bomb after Truth Bomb.

So true.

"back in the day" the anti-[Vietnam] War faction turned into solid professionals (where the money was) once the war was over. They forgot all about war in general and got co-opted.

Aside from being co-opted, something perhaps more fundamental was at work: The Left has always been, as fr as I can tell, about Purity. And that in turn led to Extremism. Take an "ideology" far enough, and real, living people disappear from the equation.

Environmentalists became anti-human.
"Human rights" activists became pro-war "responsibility to protect-ionists".
Anti-war became pro-globalist.
Anti racisms/sexism/age-ism focused so exclusively on race, sex, and age that it became the opposite.

Best impulses were subverted by TPTB.

I think that the various ideologists forgot that all of those positive impulses were supposed to enhance PEOPLE'S lives. We protect the environment because PEOPLE depend on it. We promote democracy because it gives PEOPLE more control over their lives. We want equality (insofar as it exists in nature) because we need functioning societies for PEOPLE to live in.

Instead, we wind up with trans- and anti-humanism.

Hubby's take on this: the elites had to get the left to hate people because the elites themselves hate people. This, he says, is an outgrowth of Trotskyism which is anti-human one-world government oriented.
