I broke my own rule the other day and shared a u tube vid not sure why. I try never to do it, the channel name should be posted just in case they have an account on bitchute, minds, odysee, rumble

it was great when people mirrored and archived vids
now they think a censored Trump is going to win again so they get cocky and lazy once more and no longer save or mirror vids

only takes one click for one of Susan's workers to nuke an entire channel, days and days of hard work editing, years worth of vids

The weird thing about Waybackmachine and Archive dot Org is they now often give 404 errors but at least someone tried to save a video

There is also 'Streamable' or a mirror site 'The Internet Arhcive' and otehrs that change a vid to mp4

If its political and comedy or speech then...

You give a BigTech social media company the right over your post / speech ...the very least you can do is title your vid correct in case it does get censored

not sure I'll watch it, will come back next week and click on it, maybe it gets 404'ed

will you remember the channel and video title so we can dig through the archives of the interweb and try resurrect another dead censored video?

What I have no love for is the people who run it.

As for the rest of your post, we've already had this conversation. More than once. If you want to take the time to archive and catalog all of the videos, be my guest. I've got shit to do.

And if you don't like it when I post a video from YouTube here, don't fucking watch it. I don't want to hear your constant whining about it.

If Haken ever modernized this site to embed videos from other sites, I'd put them here. In fact, I even spent a few hours on here one night doing some research and trying out dozens of different ways to force videos from other sites to embed here, but none of them work. So unless the video is EXTREMELY important and is EXTREMELY likely to be removed by YouTube, I'm not going to bother.

A clip from The 25 Anniversary of South Park Fest doesn't fall in either category.
