Salty is funny but I don't buy into the Left vs Right game, both are terrible only the Left today is more terrible

I also think you should at least link to a rumble or bitchute or mention who it was because u tube videos are constantly deleted here with 404 errors

If we are so much for Speech why do we support u tubes?
There are times when I even say Fuck U Tube and refuse to give it a single click.

this election was going nowhere, you said Oz would win and Fetterman would have lost based on a few shitposts and memes.

When Oz lost you said

You also said you would never vote again, threw a tantrum and said you would vote Democrat if you would ever vote just to burn it all down.

I understand you might have been serious for a moment but also joking

Hopefully a black retarded woman who was a refugee from a Muslim country where they know how to treat a woman.

maybe you should start a comedy channel but they would probably send the interweb police after you for offensive u tube vids

back to the political choices... the Blue-ish tie or the Red-ish tie, the pick of Red or Blue, Team A or B....always only two choices.

I'm not sure he's done, they also say Mitch McConnell also got brain damaged. The good thing is when they are less active they can probably do less damage to the USA. As retarded as the Giant is at least he was from the state while Mehmet Cengiz Oz, a dual citizen of the U.S. and Turkey when trouble kicks off which side is he truly on... ex-Turkish Military and voodoo cures, maybe could have done far more damage.

In the end there was no choice. It was a crap election with no true winners for America.

6ix, do you realize that being a Senator means you have no responsibilities? Then why bother showing up for work if what you do as a Senator makes no difference? For example, the Constitution says that Senators are responsible for declaring war, but no Senator has made such a declaration since WWII.
https://www.senate.gov/about/powers-procedures/declarations-of-war.htm

I'm surprised that more Senators don't follow Mitch McConnell's example and try to kill themselves out of ennui. Mitch got falling down drunk and tried to end it all:

To be clear, I wouldn't shed any tears if McConnell had an obvious body double tomorrow too.

On Tuesday, it was reported by NBC News that Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell continues to recover at a rehabilitation center after his fall at a restaurant in Washington earlier this month. McConnell spoke with fellow Republican Senators over the phone from the facility and “sounded like Mitch,” according to Senate Minority Whip John Thune.

Well... That's not hard to do in 2023...

Have you seen the movie Lincoln (2012)? Congress has always gone about its business in an irresponsible and absurd manner. Lincoln had to stoop to bribery and threats to get the 13th Amendment through Congress because the typical politician is excruciatingly shortsighted while being highly articulate.

There were actually Representatives who were so dumb that they were refusing to revise the Constitution to end slavery because the South had learned its lesson. It was clear from the negotiations with the Confederacy that they had learned nothing, understood nothing, and would rise up in rebellion, again, to spread slavery to every state, once the Confederates were back in the Union and had sufficient numbers in Congress, especially in the Senate, where Judges are approved. You need Confederates as Judges if you want to bring slavery to every state or ban abortion in every state. The next time, when it came, the Confederate politicians would NOT resign from Congress and NOT reconvene as a Confederate Congress. Instead, they would continue within the existing Congress to overthrow the democratically elected government.

I’ll give you a huge example of the maladaptive daydreaming that goes on constantly, for decades, in Congress. Both parties are doing it simultaneously. If Fetterman realized that most Congressmen and their constituency are squandering life itself, it probably put him into a depression needing hospitalization.

I picked this one example because I once lived within a ten-minute drive to NASA’s Johnson Space Center:

NASA’s manned mission to the Moon and Mars is a waste. (Unmanned missions are fine.)

NASA spent more on its Moon and Mars programs in 2022[41] than the total budget of the National Science Foundation[42]. And in 2024, they plan to start launching pieces of a new space station, the Gateway, which by the laws of orbital bureaucracy will lock us into decades of having to invent reasons to go visit the thing.

(In the article there is a long quote by the head of NASA justifying the program. I find the justification totally inadequate because it is appealing mainly to the delusions of elderly Congressmen who have parts of this project being built in their districts. New Senator Fetterman probably would agree and he fell into a deep depression because a super-majority of elderly Congressmen can’t see it his way on this or anything else.)

Somehow we’ve embarked on the biggest project in history even though it has no articulable purpose, offers no benefits, and will cost taxpayers more than a good-sized war. Even the builders of the Great Pyramid at Giza could at least explain what it was for. And yet this project has sailed through an otherwise gridlocked system with the effortlessness of a Pentagon budget. Presidents of both parties now make landing on Mars an official goal of US space policy. Even billionaires who made their fortune automating labor on Earth agree that Mars must be artisanally explored by hand.

The whole thing is getting weird.

I understand not wanting to let go of a cherished dream. But I also have a cherished dream, which is to see space exploration happen in my lifetime. And it is hard to overlook that the $93 billion[57] NASA has already spent through 2025 to not land anyone on the Moon would be enough[58] to send probes to every world in the solar system, including moons we know have oceans of liquid water[59] and two entire planetary systems that haven’t been visited since Voyager 2 gave them a quick once-over in the 1980’s.[60]

One path forward would be to build on the technological revolution of the past fifty years and go explore the hell out of space with robots. This future is available to us right now. Simply redirecting the $11.6 billion budget[62] for human space flight would be enough to staff up the Jet Propulsion Laboratory and go from launching one major project per decade to multiple planetary probes and telescopes a year[63]. It would be the start of the greatest era of discovery in history.

A different path forward would take us to Mars the slow, dangerous, and hard way. It would take decades and cost hundreds of billions of dollars. It requires developing a solipsistic technology that can’t take us anywhere else except Venus[64]. And it is not guaranteed to work. If there’s a reason this plan is better than going exploring (with robots), NASA should articulate it to the people who are going to be paying the bill.

“Why Not Mars” is worth reading. Maybe Fetterman read it, causing his hospitalization because the money for manned space exploration can’t be redirected to robotic space exploration since Congress is chock-full of maladaptive daydreamers and venal seekers of money for their districts.

I'll argue that, if he isn't already dead or a vegetable for life, Fettermen is depressed because the realization hit him that even if he didn't have the stroke he was completely unfit for the job, but okay... at least you're willing to admit on this issue that both parties suck. So I'll read past your first few sentences.

Article: https://idlewords.com/ 1.1.23

[41]: https://idlewords.com/#fn41
In 2022, NASA spent $6.79B on Exploration (Moon-to-Mars stuff) and $4.04B on Space Operations (running the ISS). I lump the two together since ISS research is almost entirely in support of life support for the Moon-to-Mars mission. Source: https://www.planetary.org/space-policy/nasas-fy-2022-budget

[42]: https://idlewords.com/#fn42
[42] The National Science Foundation budget was $8.8 billion in 2022.

John Fetterman is a coconut who can't think without a computer telling him what to think. But if he could, he'd look at that collective $10.83 Billion spent on Moon-to-Mars in 2022 and then see we'd spent $113 Billion on Ukraine and maybe that put him in the hospital for depression.

But if he's actually in the hospital for "depression" as you claim he is, he's the first person I've ever heard of who was hospitalized for it.

Not in Bidenflation world. It wasn't even 1/10th of what we've squandered on NATO's war with Russia.

Oh... Trust me. They're struggling to explain what the Ukraine money is for. Calling somebody evil for not supporting sending US tax dollars without the citizens approval is not a valid argument.

Just like all that Ukraine money always seems to.

Yup. Just like Ukraine.

They don't ever articulate anything to the people who pay the bills. We're cattle to them. Tax farms.

Interesting article. But it has nothing at all to do with Fetterman. Fetterman couldn't read before his stroke.

God help you, 6ix, because you can't help yourself. The point I've been making, with the mention of the movie Lincoln and with the manned space program, is that Congress has always malfunctioned because it is full of people who have no careful and thoughtful purpose in life. Lincoln had a purpose, but most of Congress couldn't understand why Lincoln did what he was doing. He had to bribe/trick/cajole them to pass the 13th Amendment. Likewise, Kennedy had a clear purpose when he promised to land a man on the moon in one decade, but once again Congress doesn't understand that the promise has been fulfilled, that NASA needs a new mission, and they should stop trying to land more men on the moon, but instead land robots. When Fetterman arrived at the Senate, the purposelessness dripping down the walls and the stupidity flowing in corridors of Congress probably depressed him enough to put him in the hospital.
