A much better-paying job for a child than mining is being a child soldier who gets to keep everything valuable on each corpse killed, including iPhones. Alternatively, the US Marines could enforce mine safety rules and child labor laws. Exporting American guns, laws, and lawyers to Africa will work very well in improving the lives of children just as it has everywhere else in the world.

I have seen many war videos out of Ukraine and never saw any child soldiers, but I see dead Ukrainian children that the Russians, always being helpful at explaining, explained the children are actually Russians killed by their Ukrainian parents or something like that. The Russians are really quick at explaining things and sometimes their explanations get a little far-fetched if you know what I mean. For example, the Russians said Ukrainian Nazis were blowing up Ukrainian Nazi maternity hospitals to make Russia look bad. When the first Ukrainian Nazi nuclear power plant is blown up, the Russians have an explanation ready to go: the Ukrainian Nazis blew up their own to make Russia look bad.
