This site is old, not an Error 404 press the door button once, swipe the card one time "Clicking once is enough!" perhaps an echo or a delay in some server-side validation that will check if a request with that unique value has already come in...this place has been around a while and maybe with no guarantees a post will be posted or guarantees the same form cannot be submitted twice, some older sites used to disable the submission button via a script programming language after the first click.

I was thinking maybe a key bounce?

Sometimes I hit the "Reply with quote" button instead of the "edit" button, but that always produces an "originally posted by" identifier, plus everything is in quote format. That didn't happen here.

You probably know more about how that could happen than me.
