Remember when Ted repeated the Legacy Media lie that said the election was over and Harris was going to win because a fringe poll at the Des Moines Iowa Register had Harris winning Iowa by +3?

That pollster just retired on the biggest loss of her life. Rough way to go out.

Credit where credit is due though. She took her loss here like a champion and made Allan Lichtman's little temper tantrum look even more pathetic than it already was.

According to this article it looks as though, similarly to Allan, she had a pretty damn good track record predicting the outcome of races with her polls since she started doing that for the Register back in the 80s.

I'd love for her to be honest with everyone and say how she let her bias screw up her judgement this cycle, but we'll never get that admission. I think she's smart enough to realize this herself though.

Also according to the article she did not quit her job because of this and she had already let them know she was retiring last year.

I won't poke anymore fun at her just because she seems so chill about the whole thing. If most folk behaved like that when things don't go their way, the world would be a lot nicer place right now.

And maybe she did drink herself stupid the following week and punch a few holes in her walls at home. So what? She was graceful about it when the camera was on her and that's what really matters.

You might have had the 2nd biggest polling flub of the 2024 election cycle, Mrs. Selzer, but I'm proud to present you with the following trophy...
