Well... It looks like if you take away the Honeymoon period for Obama's first term and Joe Biden*'s only term, the best Direction of the Country polling for the longest amount of time by far in the last 15 years are all while Donald Trump was President.

the numbers are 'Low'

its happy for about a year 'HoneyMoon' thread, the corruption of Gore and sleaze of Bill Clinton gone....even some Democrats were happy...then little Bush is a disaster...Obama will end racism, Katrina looked terrible but Obama will make the world hold hands and sing peace songs...started out ok then crashes

Trump is coming off the disaster of Wars, how bad Afghanistan looked, Lockdowns...it should be much higher now but it isnt

all a clownshow anyways the 2 party system, Team A or Team B...both part of the same corrupted club...only that Trump was a slight improvement on the senile Biden and insane Kamala Harris

Isn't it interesting though, that despite the Legacy Media in full force against Trump for 9 years now, the Direction of the Country polling averages are clearly best during Trump's 5 years compared to the other 10?

I'm actually shocked, to be honest. They always, always, always poll Democrats higher than reality, and that's why Democrats need to have +3 to +4 in the election polls to have a coin-flip against the Republican they're challenging.

So for Trump to have this noticeable difference on the Direction of Country, the public sentiment is in favor of him even more than this graph would suggest.

And if it weren't for Covid, 2020 would have been a banger of a year and he would have slid into an easy reelection. Inflation was next to zero for most of the year, and unemployment was near all-time lows.

For all that I've blessed, and all that I've wronged. In dreams until my death, I will wander on.
