The teachers’ unions want to make sure your little kids do.

Earlier this month, the National Education Association held an “Advancing LGBTQ+ Justice” event.

Documents obtained by the education watchdog group Defending Education (full disclosure: I am on the group’s board) contained slides illustrating these neo- and xeopronouns.

Neopronouns are “new” “pronouns” such as “xe/xem/xyr,” and other letters randomly shoved together.

Xeopronouns are for “conceptual identities” such as “cat/cats/catself.”

Got it?

No?

But our kids are being force-fed this garbage in America’s public schools.

The NEA touts over 3 million members, many of them teachers in our schools.

The union steeps the teachers in this leftist brain rot, and the teachers spread it at schools across the country.

It’s not just the gender bunk that was presented at the conference, either.

The NEA is not entirely sure this whole “America” thing is going to stick, so they refer to it as “what we know as the United States of America” and “what we now call the United States of America” in multiple slides.

Apparently xeopronouns are rock-solid but a 249-year-old country might just be a fad.

Also, sorry, gay people, but “homosexual” is a no-no term now, according to the NEA.

Why?

Because “this term comes across as clinical and dog whistle-y.”

Well, yes, it sounds clinical because it’s a biological term and not a word made up by some TikTok influencer to describe the gender identity of the moment.

How can the NEA still be prioritizing this foolishness in the year 2025?

And why does an openly political special interest group continue to have so much sway over our kids?

Many of us thought we’d left that insanity back in the early 2020s: President Trump has ushered in normalcy with changes at the Education Department as well as various executive orders.

But the NEA knows it just has to wait out a Republican presidency until a Democrat is back in charge — then its leaders can visit the White House on Day 1, just like they did during Joe Biden’s administration.

These unions don’t have power on their own, Democrats grant them the power to destroy our education system and fill our kids’ heads with abject nonsense.

“These documents — as well as other leaked materials we’ve obtained over the past several years — underscore that union leadership cares more about politics than their students’ well-being,” Nicole Neily, founder and president of Defending Ed, told me.

“Teachers are meant to educate children, not serve as agents of social change.”

That’s exactly it: These unions think they are ultimately the guardians of our children, and that their far out-of-the-mainstream values are the ones kids should be bringing home to their parents.

But parents know this gender gobbledygook isn’t good for their kids — beyond the confusion it causes children led to believe they can “switch” their sex.

Every minute spent on woke nonsense is a minute not spent on reading, writing and math.

The evidence of this wasted time is seen in the results that shock us every year, as American students continue their downward spiral of reading and math test scores.

The latest National Assessment of Educational Progress, also known as the nation’s report card, showed students have not recovered to pre-pandemic levels in math, reading and science.

Perhaps less time spent parsing the differences among “gender fluid,” “genderqueer” and “agender,” as one NEA slide attempted, is in order.

How much longer can groups like this, pushing a crazy agenda, have access to our kids and their schools?

Parents need to remain on guard from this asininity oozing into their kids’ classrooms.

And politicians — yes, even Democrats — have to find the courage to say: No more.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Ahead of a Senate vote on a bill to ban gender-transition surgeries for minors, Senator Corey Booker pledged his unwavering support for the trans community and showed solidarity with trans kids by announcing his plan to get his vagina removed.

Booker, New Jersey's first African American female senator, put it all on the line Thursday when he announced he had paid a doctor to mutilate his gender-specific area to prove a point.

"It's completely normal and healthy to do this," Sen. Booker said in a passionate statement to the press. "How could I in good conscience deprive kids of the right to destroy their bodies? Who are we to protect children from irreparable harm?"

Senator Ted Cruz was quick to point out to Booker that removing his vagina didn't make him a man, it just made him deformed. "What did you do to yourself? You need help," he was overheard saying in a private conversation with Booker.

Following Booker's lead, multiple senators proceeded to remove their genitals in solidarity with young children who may soon no longer have the right to mutilate themselves.

At publishing time, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer announced that he had undergone "top surgery" to make his chest appear more masculine.
