I say we save some time, skip ahead and get it over with - I vote we have a civil war. Trump was talking about it so his people are ready.

Only problem is how entangled the combatants are this time, unlike our last Civil War. My state is about 50-50 and no clear way to divvy it up.

O-well - I'm still ready.

Thing about a civil war is that the military takes an oath to uphold the constitution. The military would be with us.

I highly doubt that.

Trump Orders Cut to National Security Staff After Whistle-Blower

(Bloomberg) -- President Donald Trump has ordered a substantial reduction in the staff of the National Security Council, according to five people familiar with the plans, as the White House confronts an impeachment inquiry touched off by a whistle-blower complaint related to the agency’s work.

The request to limit the size of the NSC staff was conveyed to senior agency officials by acting White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney and O’Brien this week. The whistle-blower complaint, focused on Trump’s conduct in a July 25 phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, has been followed by damaging reports on the president’s private conversations with other world leaders.

According to 2 of the anons...

Quote:

Two of the people familiar with the decision to shrink the NSC insisted it was largely rooted in both the transition to O’Brien’s leadership as well as Trump’s desire to increase efficiency at the agency, which grew under former President Barack Obama. About 310 people currently work at the NSC.

If true, add Six-Sigma-ing the Government to my list of things I approve of the Trump administration. Something I've been calling for now for well over a decade.

Quote:

O’Brien took over the NSC last month after his predecessor, John Bolton, departed the administration after high-profile disputes with Trump and Secretary of State Michael Pompeo over Afghanistan, North Korea and other matters. There was also frustration among some West Wing officials about perceptions the NSC was leaking information to benefit Bolton.

John-warhawk-piece-of-shit-Bolton.

Well, at least the far left hasn't started talking about how great a man Bolton was. I honestly was half expecting them to by this point.

Exclusive: Official Who Heard Call Says Trump Got 'Rolled' By Turkey and 'Has No Spine'

Donald Trump got "rolled" by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, a National Security Council source with direct knowledge of the discussions told Newsweek.

"President Trump was definitely out-negotiated and only endorsed the troop withdraw to make it look like we are getting something—but we are not getting something," the National Security Council source told Newsweek. "The U.S. national security has entered a state of increased danger for decades to come because the president has no spine and that's the bottom line."

Trump administration expected to announce exit from 'Open Skies' treaty

The decision to leave the treaty -- which was signed in 1992 and went into effect in 2002 and allows 34 member states to conduct unarmed surveillance flights over one another's territories -- could affect the American military's ability to conduct aerial surveillance of Russia and other member countries. The treaty is used to help verify arms control agreements, according to the US Defense Threat Reduction Agency, part of the Defense Department.

It's like what you trolls do, deflect. You don't show how what's being reported on about Trump is wrong. Instead you deflect away to another topic. Like someone misspelled a word, or someone else did it too. Even if that's false.

Now shoo troll.

Trump’s impeachment defense boils down to this: Treat me like a king

If he can’t be indicted, and if he can dictate his own terms to Congress — as the White House counsel suggests — then the president is saying that he’s something other than a president.

The response from the state department confirmed the dems letters. Letters moron plural. And I quote; In a statement, a State Department spokesperson said they were aware of Democratic lawmakers' letters regarding the treaty." Why would the dems being sending letters concerning what Trump intended to do with the treaty if they weren't aware he was going to do it. It also says a source was a US official. It's CNN dummy not one of your youtube morons quoting a conspiracy theory.

^Totally true.

My take:
If we consider Impeachment with respect solely to Trump's behavior, then it's blatantly obvious he's guilty af and should be removed from office.
If, instead, Trump's behavior is ignored and Impeachment outcome relies solely on the greed of The GoP, and the general hatred for Democrats/Liberalz, then and only then, is there a chance the constitution could be ignored and he would not be removed from office.

Newly released Trump tax documents show major inconsistencies

Documents obtained by ProPublica show stark differences in how Donald Trump’s businesses reported some expenses, profits and occupancy figures for two Manhattan buildings, giving a lender different figures than they provided to New York City tax authorities. The discrepancies made the buildings appear more profitable to the lender — and less profitable to the officials who set the buildings’ property tax.

Good one, T. I saw a clip from one of his yellicopter pressers and it was just amazing how every single thing he said was a lie, a weak deflection, a denial, a fabrication or just plain stupid. What's amazing is they're all like that.

I just posted this in another link in response to something second had posted. It applies so I'm reposting it in response to your post.

OK think back and try and remember all the different legal issues regarding Trumps behavior since announcing his candidacy. I know, it's impossible. These attempts by Trump to skirt the law using the court system are all maturing, and he's losing.

It's possible without much maneuvering by the democrats, Trumps criminal behaviors will consume the airwaves for the unforeseeable future. My hope is that the American people will say enough.

This definitely needs fixing. We can start by getting rid of Trump.

That is literally the only thing the Legacy Media has reported on ever since Trump won the Primary, and it hasn't gotten you anywhere yet. What makes you think things are going to change in the next year?

The American people have said enough. They've tuned out.

WASHINGTON, Nov 4 (Reuters) - Two U.S. career diplomats told the Trump impeachment inquiry that they did not feel supported by the State Department under President Donald Trump and that the department was being used for domestic political purposes, according to transcripts of their testimony released on Monday.

Good. I want them to now come out and talk about how this has been done for decades since the CIA has been running the show.

Let's blow this whole thing wide ope. I'm happy to watch Trump burn if he takes the entire machine of war down with him.

Do Right, Be Right. :)

It should be wide open Jack. Not wide ope...

Jesus Christ. Are we really going to have to watch you sift through hundreds of posts for a single mistake now?

Your pea brain puts more typos, misspellings, misused homonyms and self incriminating proof that you commonly use words who's definitions you don't even have a clue what they mean daily than you're ever going to find me make in a month or three. Often times, all of these things happen in a single post, numerous times in a single day.

Contrary to idiot belief, I'm not on Putin's payroll, and nobody pays me to post here. Unlike you, however, I do take pride in my writing and don't want to come off like an inbred simpleton because I continually misspell OOPS again and again and again even though it is continually pointed out to me.

Everybody makes mistakes. You take it to a professional level with your stupidity and/or laziness. I've never seen anybody do the internet as poorly as you do.

Do Right, Be Right. :)

You may want to place a hyphen between (self and incriminating). Also it should be (whose not who's).

I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

So I looked at the areas that were more gerrymandered v areas that were not, trying to match them against their geography and political leanings. I wish the commentator had done a better and more objective job on that because this would be worthy of a research paper. Also, there are still prolly gerrymandered areas based on race, so some of this gerrymandering may not be due to partisan divide.

The areas that were highly gerrymandered were:

Seattle and surroundings (mostly dem)
CA, north of SF (don't knows, ranges from Oakland which is highly dem to Coos Bay which is rural/timber and prolly repub)
Philadelphia, PA and northwards (prolly mostly dem)
Raleigh and environs, NC (prolly dem)
NW Arkansas. No idea, there's no major urban center there, no idea why any party would fight so hard to keep it. Prolly repub.
Houston/Galveston (prolly repub)
Western end of Kentucky, but no major urban areas (Kentucky??? prolly repub)
Charleston SC (like many urban areas prolly dem)
Maryland, including Baltimore (prolly dem)
Louisiana (no idea)

The areas that are NOT gerrymandered are the extreme NE states (mostly dem) to the High Plains states (mostly Repub)

Not seeing a Dem/Repub or urban/suburban/rural divide here. The practice of gerrymandering needs to be fixed, for sure, but it seems to be a practice that has gotten hold in a lot of areas, not just repub.

Why don't they just go by ZIP code? The Post Office seems to have figured out how to divide the USA into approximately equal-population service areas.
