The ruling comes after the Washington Post revealed that Epstein's autopsy found multiple breaks in his neck bones commonly found in victims of homicide by strangulation, the hyoid bone near the Adam's apple.

Epstein's blood vessels in his eyes popped when his air supply was cut off by the bed sheet that was wrapped around his neck ... this according to law enforcement sources briefed on the case. We're told he suffered petechial hemorrhaging, caused when someone hangs himself or is strangled or smothered, but authorities are confident this was a hanging.

We're told the bed sheets were tied to the top of a bunk bed and Epstein either hurled himself off the top bunk or had his feet to the ground and leaned forward to cut off his air supply. Authorities believe the former is true, because throwing himself off the top bunk and falling violently to the ground could explain why his hyoid bone was fractured. -TMZ

That still doesn't explain the shrieking heard from Epstein's jail cell according to reports.

The incident is being investigated by the FBI and the Justice Department’s inspector general’s office, which are attempting to determine what happened and how to assess whether any policies were violated or crimes committed.

The footage is considered critical to those inquiries, and the revelation of an unusable recording is yet another of the apparent failures inside the Metropolitan Correctional Center, the short-staffed Bureau of Prisons facility in downtown Manhattan that held Epstein. -Washington Post

Also, the Not-a-Billionaire revised his Will two days before killing himself, which is pretty strong evidence he was planning on killing himself. If only he had mentioned it in the Will, we'd know for sure, but then his lawyer would have requested he be placed on suicide watch.

The will, which is dated August 8 -- two days before Epstein was found dead by suicide in a federal jail in New York -- lists assets that he left to Mark Epstein, according to The Post. The model agency boss accused of scouting young girls for pedophile pal Jeffrey Epstein has disappeared like a “ghost,” as investigators scour the globe searching for him, a new report said.

French authorities want to quiz Jean-Luc Brunel, 72, over his ties to Epstein as part of their own probe into the late financier who had a house in Paris, according to the Daily Mirror.

“He is a ghost who has disappeared without a trace,” a legal source in Paris told the paper of Brunel, who discovered some of the biggest names in modeling, including Christy Turlington and Angie Everhardt.

Investigators have made inquiries throughout the US and Europe, as well as Brazil, where the Frenchman was seen looking for girls just three months before Epstein, 66, was arrested, the paper says.

“There is no address for him, all his internet accounts, including social media, have been wiped out. He is uncontactable,” the source told the Mirror.

Brunel has long been connected to the Epstein scandal in numerous court filings.

Epstein had invested $1 million to help launch Brunel’s Miami-based modeling firm MC2 in return for a “supply of girls on tap,” according to one lawsuit — even allegedly sending him three 12-year-old girls as a sick birthday present.

Virginia Roberts Giuffre, one of Epstein’s longtime accusers, alleged in court papers that Brunel “farmed out” modeling hopefuls to Epstein and that she was also forced to have sex with the model agency boss.

Brunel previously denied being involved “directly or indirectly” in crimes involving Epstein, who killed himself in a Manhattan federal lockup on Aug. 10.

“I strongly deny having committed any illicit act or any wrongdoing in the course of my work as a scouter or model agencies manager,” Brunel told the Guardian in 2015.
