How much do you know about me compared to Trump? Did you know that Trump earned his fastest Bottomless Pinocchio ever with his repeated false statement that the whistleblower compliant about the Ukrainegate call was inaccurate? The report accurately captured the content of Trump’s call and many other details have been confirmed, yet Trump has repeated this Four Pinocchio claim 29 times. (It takes 20 repeats of a Three or Four Pinocchio claim to merit a Bottomless Pinocchio, and there are now 27 entries.)

I think Trump has some kind of mental problem that goes far beyond ADHD.

You mean, what he tweets v what you post? A LOT! Every single post of yours is a lie. And I'll let you think about that for a bit - I have important things to do like go for coffee and then grocery shopping.

The insane never-Trumpers will be driven even more insane in the wash/rinse/spin/repeat/ cycle they mistake for reality.

Trump has falsely said 171 times that he passed the biggest tax cut in history. Even before his tax cut was crafted, he promised it would be the biggest in U.S. history — bigger than Ronald Reagan’s in 1981. Reagan’s tax cut amounted to 2.9 percent of the gross domestic product, and none of the proposals under consideration came close to that level. Yet Trump persisted in this fiction even when the tax cut was eventually crafted to be the equivalent of 0.9 percent of GDP, making it the eighth-largest tax cut in 100 years. This continues to be an all-purpose applause line at the president’s rallies. ADHD? Or Stupidity?

Trump’s sadistic argument for betraying the Kurds -- Death is Good.

President Donald Trump has a consistent record of contempt for human life. He has endorsed violence against journalists, executions for nonlethal offenses, the use of poison gas, and the deliberate targeting of family members of suspected terrorists. Now Trump is offering a new argument for atrocities: Death and suffering in war are good for peace.

But what about all the people driven from their homes? “It’s a lot of sand,” the president shrugged, referring to Syria and the countries fighting over it. “They’ve got a lot of sand over there. So there’s a lot of sand that they can play with.”

At the Values Voter Summit, the president joked that he had threatened to sic ISIS terrorists on Europe. He said that he had told European leaders in phone calls, “You have to take them back, or I’m going to let them go right on your damn border.” The audience of professed moralists laughed.

ADHD? Or SADISM?

Trump at his sneakiest (no signs of Signym's hypothetical ADHD here):

Gordon Sondland, the Ambassador to the European Union (and a close Trump ally), told a Ukrainian official “that the security assistance money would not come until President Zelensky committed to pursue the Burisma investigation.”

“Ambassador Sondland said ‘everything’ was dependent on such an announcement, including security assistance,” Taylor said. “He said that President Trump wanted President Zelensky ‘in a public box’ by making a public statement about ordering such investigations.”

Trump “was adamant” that Zelensky make such a statement — but also that Trump said this wasn’t a “quid pro quo.” (Laugh out loud at Trump's sneakiness.)

If Zelensky didn’t “clear things up” regarding the investigations in public, they would be at a “stalemate.” (“stalemate” meant that Trump would keep blocking the aid.)

Blaming Obama is not a workable gambit, Signym, in your campaign to suggest Trump has ADHD.

Youtube has actual video of Trump declaring victory in Syria.

All it takes to win is to boldly declare victory and leave chaos in your wake.

Does he have ADHD? Or is he kidding you?

Trump moved US troops out of Turkey's path into Syria in order to protect Trump's property in Turkey. Trump pretended that he would “totally destroy and obliterate the Economy of Turkey” if it entered Syria. Turkey entered Syria, but Trump did not destroy Turkey. Instead, he removed the economic sanctions after Turkey achieved all its military objectives. Turkey keeps Syria and Trump keeps Trump Towers in Istanbul and Trump declares victory.

seems like you have no idea what just happened in Syria. Kurds were not "slaughtered" and "chaos" was not left in its wake. Some people were killed, but the Syrian Army took over from where the Kurds had fled, and the Kurds made a deal with Assad and are under their protection. The Russians and Syrians have negotiated with Erdogan to limit the area of incursion and to recognize Syrian borders.

Trump did a good thing by withdrawing our troops. That was a WIN, not a failure. Don't forget that OBAMA created this clusterfuck ... using terrorist proxies to overthrow Assad, dumping Erdogan and switching to the Kurds (where was the outrage then?) The real "chaos" ... the one where hundreds of thousands of people were killed and millions displaced... is on Obama's plate, not Trump's. Don't forget that.

Former White House chief of staff John Kelly warned the President before he left the White House last year not to hire a replacement who wouldn't tell him the truth or that he would be impeached.

"Someone has got to be a guide that tells [the president] that you either have the authority or you don't, or Mr. President, don't do it," Kelly said. "It pains me to see what's going on because I believe if I was still there or someone like me was there, he would not be kind of, all over the place."

White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham said, "I worked with John Kelly, and he was totally unequipped to handle the genius of our great President."

Trump said, "John Kelly never said that, he never said anything like that. If he would have said that I would have thrown him out of the office. He just wants to come back into the action like everybody else does."

President Donald Trump told a story in January about the farmers, ranchers and builders who stood behind him at a 2017 event where he signed an executive order to weaken an Obama-era environmental regulation.

"They were strong, tough men and women. And half of them were crying," Trump told an American Farm Bureau convention.

In the video of the signing ceremony, nobody was crying. Most of them were smiling.

Trump told the story again at a shale industry conference Wednesday. This time, there were even more imaginary tears.

"Many of them were tough, strong men and women. And almost all of them were crying," Trump said.

Trump makes some of his false claims with remarkable consistency, repeating the same invented tales and figures almost verbatim dozens of times. In other cases, his fiction gets more dramatic with additional renditions.

This is Trump's lie-inflation.

I read this lovely quote. It made me think of the brainpower of Trump and all the Trump lovers I know: Without Darwin’s unlimited funds, Wallace had to live in a relatively simple way. This meant sharing accommodations with the native people he encountered. Wallace was impressed by the way natives obviously underutilized their potential brainpower. Although he was sure that native people could be as intellectually developed as Europeans, in reality, this rarely happened. As Wallace pointed out, it seemed that for many years humans had a huge amount of unused brain capacity. This could hardly have been brought about by natural selection because having a brain is clearly biologically costly. Proto-humans could not have afforded such a luxury, at least not on naturalistic grounds. There had to be a reason. Wallace’s conclusion was that spirit forces prepared the brain’s early form, which waited to be used when European civilization got underway.

To Trump and the Trump lovers: Like the natives that Alfred Russel Wallace (1823-1913) encountered, you don't need to use most of your brains because you live in the greatest and easiest country on Earth, but do yourself and America a favor by trying harder to live up to your full human potential in the 21st Century.

‘It feels like a horror movie’: Senators feel anxious and adrift defending Trump

The Republican Party’s strategy is being directed almost entirely by the frenzied impulses of Trump, who has exhibited fits of rage over the Democrats’ drive to remove him from office for abuse of power.

Republican senators are lost and adrift as the impeachment inquiry enters its second month, navigating the grave threat to President Trump largely in the dark, frustrated by the absence of a credible case to defend his conduct and anxious about the historic reckoning that likely awaits them.

Recent days have delivered the most damaging testimony yet about Trump and his advisers commandeering Ukraine policy for the president’s personal political goals, which his allies on Capitol Hill sought to undermine by storming the deposition room and condemning the inquiry as secretive and corrupt.

Those theatrics belie the deepening unease many Republicans now say they feel — particularly those in the Senate who are dreading having to weigh their conscience against their political calculations in deciding whether to convict or acquit Trump should the Democratic-controlled House impeach the president.

In hushed conversations over the past week, GOP senators lamented that the fast-expanding probe is fraying their party, which remains completely in Trump’s grip. They voiced exasperation at the expectation that they defend the president against the troublesome picture that has been painted, with neither convincing arguments from the White House nor confidence that something worse won’t soon be discovered.

“It feels like a horror movie,” said one veteran Republican senator, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to candidly describe the consensus.

I will try one more time: I'm voting for the Democrats because they are the least worst of the two parties. I'm not voting for them because of their excellence, since they are not. Queue the awful stories told by Trump lovers about Hillary and Obama and Biden and Elizabeth Warren.

It is not as if there are viable third parties out there to take control away from the Democrats and Republicans. But if Trump is reelected, I can depend on him to do what is best for Trump, which is to lower his own taxes and my taxes at the very same time. That is simple. What is hard to understand is why there are only two political parties that run the country:

"Why America Is Stuck With Only Two Parties"
https://newrepublic.com/article/146884/america-stuck-two-parties

"Why are there only two parties in American politics?"
www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2016/04/27/why-are-there-only-t
wo-parties-in-american-politics
/
The U.S. political system is set up for two major parties, because it awards seats in Congress and the presidency with a winner-take-all method.
Before the Republican Party and the Democratic Party were the two major parties, the Democratic Party and the Whig Party were. Before that matchup, the Democratic Party and the National Republican Party were the dominant two. And before that? The Democratic-Republicans and the Federalists reigned. Since World War II, no more than two out of its 535 members of Congress have been anything other than Republicans and Democrats.

(I'm hoping the Republican Party will self-destruct because of Trump. Major party collapses have happened before. Maybe its replacement could be called the Whigs? The name has been used before. It is classy.)

I'm asking these questions again, because you failed to answer them.

You're completely free to not answer anything that I post, just like T does all the time. Just stop quoting me if you're not going to reply in any legitimate way to what you quote.

I'll even do you the favor of making it PG the second time.

I'll also add that for years, even when I was making good money, I learned to live without stuff. At this point, I've become a professional at it. I've learned more by teaching myself how to do thing in the last three years than I learned in 12 years of high school.

Go ahead and use whatever bullshit arguments you want about the Democrats being better. Don't care.

But you and I both know that calling me an idiot is just another lie.

So here's my original post again. I'm curious to see what you quote from it this time, and what you post that has nothing to do with the quote.

Officials cringe as Trump spills sensitive details of al-Baghdadi raid

Some details the president has revealed are classified.

Officials say they worry what to put in briefings for a man with no filter.

The al-Baghdadi raid is the most high-profile exhibit of a reality U.S. officials have had to contend with since Trump took office: a president with a background in show business who relishes delivering a compelling narrative and deals daily with the kind of covert, life-and-death sets of facts that inspire movie scripts.

Trump revealing that the U.S. possesses documents about future ISIS plans hurts the military's ability to use that information for quick follow-on operations, officials said. The president's disclosure that the U.S. had taken ISIS fighters from the compound complicated efforts to try to keep ISIS from knowing who is alive or dead for as long as possible while they interrogate them, officials said.

Some of the president's comments could complicate the intelligence gathering that leads to such raids because they revealed sources and methods the U.S. uses, officials said. They pointed to his saying that the U.S. knew of al-Baghdadi's whereabouts via technology, and also knew of the underground tunnels at his compound, which suggests the U.S. has infrared abilities to locate caves and tunnels.
