We had around 2,000 troops controlling a population of 37.47 million. We built an army for them of 300,000. What they chose to do when we left is on them. Trump set the terms of the pullout while he was president. Biden took advantage of that because we needed to use the resources elsewhere. Boy was he right and Russia and China wish we were still there.

Taliban back in Asscrackistan, the 15th August 2021, Afghanistan's capital city of Kabul was captured by the Taliban after a major insurgent offensive that began in May 2021. It was the final action of the War in Afghanistan, and marked a total victory for the Taliban. This led to the overthrowing of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan under President Ashraf Ghani and the reinstatement of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan under the control of the Taliban.

President Ghani, Vice President Amrullah Saleh, and members of their family and inner circle quietly fled from Afghanistan. Their own top lieutenants, important government members, and US officials were not informed they would escape until after they had already left.

Last two Afghan Jews, who helped end Democratic Republic of Afghanistan, the last two who helped kick out the British influence, over throw secularism, kick out the social left are now fighting each other

there are types who open New York to invaders, perhaps the interaction wouldn’t be out of place in New York.

Are Taliban weapons moving to the Middle East?

Zeihan? What did that creepy BS ConArtist trying to sell books the Pedo Zeihan get so many of those Asscrackistan predictions incorrect? Hated Trump loves Biden 'Waking Up to Reality' more nonsense 'Goodbye to the Middle East' Zeihan has meltdowns quits twitter, says he is never coming back to twitter and calls Elon Musk all types of names and returns a few days later to sell more books. He seems to be an open borders guy which is helping crime cross the Mexican border into the USA and causing the collapse of Germany. Says the USA is withdrawing from the world for a while, he has talked of 'isolationism' almost as long as we have and he totally ignored the countries like Belarus, the guns for hire Chenchen Mercs, Saudi, drones of Iranians, political expansion of Turks, Indians, Venezuelans, South Africa political madness, Russians, said that no power would step into any power void left by the withdrawal of the USA.

He says Argentina, Turkey, Japan and France become number 1 world players? Back in 2002 he was saying Chinese would collapse in 5 years or China won’t survive as a unified country a decade from now...he keeps kicking the can down the road

Predicted Finland defeating Russia?

Quote:

Russia starts to fall apart. Russia is not a traditional nation-state. It is a multi-ethnic empire. If that fractures and we see civil collapse (and likely the odd internal war) the Russian frontier becomes less secure. More functional pieces of the old Russian empire will try to claw their way out. Some will use guns. Some will have nukes. All will have Soviet-quality military equipment and intelligence personnel. I would not want to be Poland or Ukraine.

But I might want to be Finland. Assuming the Russians don’t try their Hail Mary and come and visit the Balts in the night, a suitably chaotic Russia might entice the Finns to come visit Russia. The Karelian Isthmus used to be Finnish territory, and in a Russian-disintegration scenario I can absolutely see St Petersburg breaking away to become the fourth Baltic republic under Finnish sponsorship.

He thinks everyone will continue to buy USA Hollywood Xbox and says that Asia has no soft power in the wider world, he seems to dream up ideas of little Russian states having Nuke Battles with themselves?
At times he's a propagandist he either unknowingly lies about data or deliberately posts BS

He seems to say 'Al Jazeera' and 'France24' do good journalism but everyone else is 'wrong'?
Zeihan also predicts the rise of Japan/Turkey maybe as that assholeglobalist George Friedman told him to say? Zeihan has called World War Z the best politics book admitting yes its about zombies, but calls it the best geopolitical book he has EVER read. Zeihan has said Argentina will dominate South and Central America but how? Recently he says their military is on the level of the British or French? A salesman, good at presenting a talk on his own book, not so good on true deep analysis of data and he's allowed to be wrong by a lot.

Biden's a senile old fool and China I think you got that wrong, did a weird video of pedo Zeihan tell you that BS story?

The Chinese have a border with the Afghans, when the USA NATO was there it was on the Chinese Left/Western flank the Afghanistan–China border is a 92-kilometre-long 57 miles. If trade did not move through Afghan land then maybe India Pakistan Kashmir or Kazakhstan Russia or Kyrgyzstan or Tajikistan...until goods found their way to Rome or Egypt or Greece. An Ancient trade route moved by here, the Silk Road probably goods which moved through here or close by sending poetry, silk, goods and art from the East all the way to Europe and from Europe all the way to China.

If true, my prediction was correct.

Is There a Political Coup in Afghanistan as Sirajuddin Haqqani Takes Over?

Afghanistan is once again at a crossroads as reports emerge of a political coup within the Taliban. Sirajuddin Haqqani, a figure long associated with the Haqqani Network, has allegedly seized control, marking a significant shift in the country’s leadership.

This development suggests a culmination of the growing divide between the so-called “Kandahar Taliban” faction, led by Maulavi Haibatullah Akhundzada, and the “Kabul Taliban,” dominated by the Haqqani family.

This internal power struggle has been simmering for years. The Taliban, after regaining control in 2021, attempted to project unity, but factional differences persisted. Haibatullah Akhundzada, ruling from Kandahar, represented the more rigid, ideological wing of the Taliban.

In contrast, the Haqqanis, with deep ties to regional networks and international actors, emerged as pragmatic power brokers. This coup, if confirmed, could bring Afghanistan into a new phase of political realignment. However, it also raises serious concerns about external influence and internal stability.

The rise of Sirajuddin Haqqani is not just an internal affair; it reflects broader geopolitical maneuvering. For months, reports have suggested that Washington had been encouraging a shift in power within the Taliban to sideline Haibatullah Akhundzada’s hardline faction.

By supporting a more politically flexible group within the Taliban, the U.S. likely aims to secure its interests in the region without resorting to direct intervention.

Haqqani, with his long-standing ties to both Pakistan and international financial networks, presents a complex figure. His return from Dubai to take control of the Taliban further underscores his growing influence.

While some see this as a potential opportunity for moderated governance and improved foreign relations, others remain skeptical. The Haqqani Network’s history of militant activities, including ties to insurgency operations, cannot be overlooked.

This shift raises questions about the future of peace and security in Afghanistan. Will the Haqqanis leverage their control to stabilize the country through diplomacy and regional cooperation? Or will power struggles persist, pushing Afghanistan deeper into conflict?

Akhundzada’s reported removal, under the guise of mental instability, is symbolic of how far the internal rift within the Taliban has widened. For years, the ideological faction based in Kandahar clashed with the more politically adaptive Haqqani network over issues of governance, security policies, and relations with foreign powers.

This coup signals that the Haqqanis have emerged victorious, likely with the support of external players. However, such foreign influence could deepen anti-Taliban sentiments within Afghanistan, as many Afghans resent the continuous interference of foreign governments in their domestic affairs.

Additionally, those loyal to Akhundzada and the Kandahar faction may not easily accept this transition, risking further internal unrest or even civil war.

If Haqqani’s leadership is to bring stability, he will need to address these divisions swiftly. Inclusivity and regional partnerships, particularly with Iran, China, and Russia, will be key to balancing Afghanistan’s external relations. Failure to do so could lead to further isolation and economic collapse, with ordinary Afghans bearing the brunt of these power games.

The political coup in Afghanistan marks a dramatic turning point. Sirajuddin Haqqani’s rise to power may be seen by some as an opportunity for a more pragmatic approach to governance and foreign relations. However, history teaches us that Afghanistan’s leadership changes are often accompanied by turbulence and resistance.

The key question remains: will the Haqqani faction seek peace and stability, or will it continue to use power for self-serving interests?

The coming weeks will reveal whether this coup is a step toward much-needed reform or a prelude to another period of violence and uncertainty. For the Afghan people, whose hopes for peace have repeatedly been shattered, this leadership change must prioritize their welfare, or it risks becoming yet another chapter of broken promises.
