I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

Just wondering what y'all do for fun and for exercise. I used to be pretty good at racquetabll but finding courts became too expensive. Now I play at tennis. I'm not as good and I don't like it as much but it gets me moving. I go to the gym a few days a week, and run a couple days a week. When you get to be MY age (50+) ya gotta do that kind of stuff.

I used to have fun riding trials-type motorcycle. it was a Yamaha TY250 as I recall.) but never got a license. Used to "plink" with an old Remington Nylon 66 .22 in my younger days but never went hunting. Took judo and had fun with that for a while. Tried downhill skiing- that was great! But that was all BK (before kid).

Don't follow sports much and don't watch TV much but I like to cook. Pretty good at it too, when I set my mind to it.

ZOXYGEN

Im still in highschool (graduating this year) so I play quite a few sports, Hockey, Lacrosse and I fool around with golf.

I try to write sometimes but I lose focus and start somthing new too fast. Basically Im looking for a hobby and I type, Gets boring waiting for firefly to be resurected.

The only thing I found out from trying golf is that I'm real good at tearing up divots! My hat's off to anyone who can manage to hit a ball with a club!

Oh, let me add whisky-tasting. I enjoy a good single malt scotch. So much so that I actually belong to the Scotch Malt Whiskey Society. I head off to their tastings every few years or so- where else can you get to try 70 different whiskies??? Hiccup!

RUE

I have a vote and I'm not afraid to use it!

I've done many different sports and physical activities, but MY sport is bicycling. I have to say I can be exceptional. Not Lance Armstrong, but faster in a sprint than the local racers, and with edurance to do 12 hours straight at pace.

But I have really geeky interests now. I compare news sources. And I really keep up on medical information.

Nearly everything I know I learned by the grace of others.

CITIZEN

Used to play Football(Soccer) and Rugby. Sailing I did a lot, but haven't touched a boat in at least 8 years. I've practiced martial arts, namely Judo, Kai Bu Do Kahn and Tang Soo Do. I've had to give them up about a year and a half ago because of work, but I'm hoping to pick them up again. So sports that I actually do right now? Erm, none.

Hobbies are fairly Geeky, 3D graphics and animation, bit of programming on occasion, spending unhealthy amounts of time here, that sort of thing...

More insane ramblings by the people who brought you beeeer milkshakes!

Used to golf; hit a one-iron, even. Back's too stiff these days. Used to race motorcycles (Ducati Diana and Yamaha TD1-B) on various road courses in eastern U.S. and Canada, (Mosport & Harewood Acres in Canada, Nelson Ledges, OH, and once at Danville, VA.
Like SignyM, even had a trials bike, Bultaco Lobito.

These days I pump a bit of iron, walk the dog, and that's about it. Fixing up an old house and making furniture for it is my main "hobby." I used to play bluegrass banjo but gave it up for flamenco guitar, an ongoing and lifelong passion. Would love to play for Summer's dancing sometime.

Fitness: Cycling. Been riding off and on for 32 years... more "on" lately. Currently taking a spin class to try to improve my pedalling efficiency (and retain the performance I achieved last summer through the winter). I also walk on the treadmill while watching Firefly on TV... allows me to be a couch spud without the couch or the spud!

Sports: Don't care for 'em. Don't participate. Don't watch.

Hobbies: Playing guitar. Reading. Watching selected TV shows in the company of my wife.
