You've seen the BBC offer it's opinion on the news rather than just reporting it

No frankly i wouldn't say that on the hole i find the reporters on the BBC vary disciplined (keep in mind i haven't watched it regularly for years since back when i used to ketch BBCworld). however when i think of base I don't so much think of somebody adding personal comment to a strait news’s story as the way in witch that strait news’s story is presented: the word's chosen to describe something, how much weight is given to what aspect...that sort of thing.

As an aside back when i was in high school/just out i was *vary* impressed with the reporting on BBCworld. Even now i frequently find the basic information supplied vary good.....just with more slant (maybe it's just BBCamairca?)

But we weren't talking bias, we were talking editorialising . Any news source is going to be biased, I certainly don't advocate getting all my information from a single source, but the BBC seems about the best I've come across when it comes too refraining from editorialising, and keeping bias to a minimum in their reporting.

More insane ramblings by the people who brought you beeeer milkshakes!
No one can see their reflection in running water. It is only in still water that we can see.
