If you think Bill O'Reilly is any better or worse than Kieth Olbermann, you're ummm, normal I guess...because so few people like me think they are as bad as each other, and that neither of them should be helping anybody make up thier minds if they want to think independantly. a "self-proclaimed" liberal democrat...I'd like to know what makes her liberal before I take her word for it, frankly. Since all I have from her is "im a liberal democrat but..."

second, we have frank luntz talking about how bad msnbc viewership is, when Olbermann has been consistently beating O'reilley this last week in the 25-54 democraphic(supposedly the important one---guess thats cuz old people don't go out and buy as much) in primetime with over a million viewers some nights. That may not be representative of the whole station, but the shows we're talking about do well. of course luntz is a republican operative and always has been, so no surprise, and still the same side of the bipartisan.

Patricia Heaton is republican who likes Mccain, according to the article you posted with the misleading(lying) title.

The moderator was republican.

Michael Reagan is the guy who was advocating shooting liberals, and is obviously....want to take a guess? A republican. His own venom already puts a strike against him in my book, and I have no reason to believe that the death threats he supposedly receives are credibly happening without somebody pointing me to some evidence. Even if it is happening, and I would never advocate such a thing, he should be honored that people are taking his own message to heart.

Within this whole article,there is one supposed liberal democrat who doesn't like MSNBC
even mentioned.

Did you even read the article? Or did you just like the title so much, you didn't think it mattered?

I guess that's why asshole editors use these kinds of titles. They don't expect their readership to read.

I don't think its helpful when agenda is hidden, that's when your lean takes on a subtle influence.

Of course O'reilley lies and says he's an independant(I guess all that really means is whatever shill the repubs put up, he'll vote for him, just not in the primary)

Olbermann is clearly a democrat, cleary has a problem with the Republican brand and uses evidence to point out what problems he has with it. He doesn't have guests on to get into shouting matches with them...to try to "pwn" them. Take his reporting for what its worth. The information is sound, even if you don't like the tilt.
That doesn't make him a hundred percent right in his analysis, and it doesn't make his views unfiltered and 100 percent fair, but it does put them out in the the light of day, and light is good in political discussion, not bad.

Now, hidden agendas are neccessary when dealing with children. Picking your battles and negotiating are whats neccessary in bringing people closer to where they might want to consider your points. Grouchy? Dennis Miller has a radio show on, 10-1 , M-F here locally, and he's ANYTHING but " grouchy " . There's not a more laid back, easy going talk show host on the air, and I should know ! I listen to just about all of them , at least those syndicated nationally. Miller is about the coolest cat there is, so anyone calling HIM a "dickhead" must themselves be a royal dickhead!!

One can feel it more and more every day. Democrats, so overly confident recently, are starting to see the inevitable writing on the wall. McCain is catching up in every state, and the national tracking polls show him within statistical margin of error, meaning it's basically very, very close now. Who would have thought that? Obama is outspending McCain by about 6 to one, and he has all the networks and major liberal newspapers stroking him, yet McCain support lingers and grows.

Add in the fact that about half the polls are total baloney. They are political polls designed to "shape" opinion, not report on it. Any poll with the preface of CBS, or NY Times, or CNN is obviously just an attempt to demoralize Republicans. Unfortunately for them, other polls, non-aligned independent polls in the past that got it right, like Rassmussen and Gallop have this race tightening rapidly.

And then there's the historical "over-polling" of Democrat candidates. For some reason, as history has proven, some people just want to tell pollsters a "popular" answer, but then they go vote Republican. It is this factor, plus the reality that Obama is a very weak candidate with no experience that will give voters cause to stop and think at the polls, and then they will vote for McCain.

Hollywood endorsements mean nothing. If they did, Obama would be ahead by 20 points. All these entertainers effectively do is forever taint their box office viability in the future. Their suicidal tendencies towards their own careers give clear insight into the mindset behind it, into the mindset of 4 recent anti-war movies that flopped enormously, and the recent "W" that bombed as well. They don't care. They simply don't care if they offend and alienate 50% of the country, mainly because they don't see and hear any dissent against it where they live. It's their right to support and say whatever they want, but it's also my right to boycott any entertainer I choose to based on how I feel about how they conduct themselves in the public arena.
