My suggestion would be that shoplifting, when proven, would result in 3 months in a work camp weeding tomatoes and onions for 12 hours a day in the hot sun. That’s good for a man’s soul, I tell you. It’s time to start making the punishments fit the crime, but also put the “correction” back in the Dept of Corrections. Making a man rot for 8 years is an invitation for having a hardened criminal on your hands later. Duh.

Good point! Personally, I would give the man a rifle, 1,000 rounds of ammo, and introduce him to the Militia (and all the cheese he could eat)! Instead, he wastes away in the gulags of Amerika!

wow talk about a waste of tax dollars i would give the guy the money for the cheese it would be cheaper then the amount it costs to lock him up.
