Scientists are confused, but ALGore can tell them what's going on.

Its probably a result of all the gas coming from Uranus.

The Supreme High Council of Jupiter voted to give the gas-band to Al Gore as a house-warming present for his new $9 million pad in Malibu. He can trade it in for carbon credits, and pocket some kern from it, like he always does.

Awww, are you two still crying because he gets paid more for speeches than your messiah Dubya does?

Hell, maybe Jupiter is trying to hide WMD. It's as plausible an explanation (and as ridiculous) as anything you've posited.

"I mean, I do think at a certain point you've made enough money." Barack Obama 4/30/10

That is unless you're a Democrat, and you fork it over to Obama. Then you can make all you want. You can even cheat the Govt. on your taxes, and then get rewarded with a Cabinet position! Sounds like something his pals Oprah, Streisand, George Soros, and Snoop Dogg would all agree with.

Yeah, on the Republican side, if you cheat the government out of that kind of money, you only get the Vice Presidency out of it.

Right?

By the way, don't forget McCain's great words on who qualifies as "rich". Apparently, 10 homes and a multi-million dollar worth don't even make a dent on that list.

I see your Bush Derangement Syndrome hasn't abated an iota, even though Bush and Cheney have been out of office for 17 months. Do you even know that? I'll repeat it for ya....Bush and Cheney have been out of office for a year and a half. You and your kindred spirit and thought-guide Keith Olbermann need to wise up and deal squarely with Obama, not Bush, because the stuff you're spewing a'int working with most Americans. It must be the oldest, most broken record in human history with you guys. Are you not ever embarrassed and ashamed to always go to the "Bush's fault" well? Everything in the world is six degrees of Bush and Cheney to you? How utterly sad.

It's hilarious to watch the righties so desperately flailing around for anything to bitch about.

What the hell has that got to do with global warming (climate change, actually)? Nothing, as usual...you're getting as bad as Whatsit and PN!

Oboy, do we get to save that to throw in his face when he's proven wrong? What the hell, I will!

I should start keeping track of their crowing before the fact so I can toss it back at them...hmmmm...

It IS funny--tho' I see it more as sad--that they can't handle reality and are so desperate to find anything to bitch about.

Uh, Bush/Cheney may be out of office, but

1) Cheney's still around, spewing his vile; and
2) WE're still suffering from bush's idiocy, so it's fair to remind.

Yeah, you teabaggers just keep telling yourselves that.

I've no doubt you could go on for days. Doesn't mean anything you have to say is worthwhile.

The rest of the country will keep laughing at the whiny sore losers.

Pretty much how I feel, Story. IF they came up with some valid things to bitch about (and there are plenty, and some here do), I'd take them seriously and discuss/debate the issue. But when they just parrot rhetoric from ClusterFox which is patently and amusingly absurd and over the top, credibility goes out the window...and when they defend those views with personal attacks and slurs but no facts, it completely discredits them.

That seems to be what happens around here most of the time--as always, I wish we had more reasonable, intelligent voices on the right. But until/unless we do, those we DO have for the most part represent the very worst of whining about things which aren't real, so all we CAN do is laugh.

Seriously? You're going to stand there whinging about Al Gore and tell me how sad it is to mention Bush? Really?

News flash, brainiac: Al Gore has been out of office since January 20th, 2001. Do I need to repeat that? You've got Gore Derangement Syndrome which is now morphing into Obama Derangement Syndrome.

"Terrorist coddling"? Really? Isn't the exclusively the right wing's position? I seem to remember some idiot standing up at a town hall meeting with his Republican congressman, and declaring himself a "proud right-wing terrorist", to which the congressman said, and I quote, "God bless you, sir."

Is that the terrorist coddling you refer to? The kind your party has been doing for generations?

I guess it IS fiscal insanity to come into office and not immediately start spending at least DOUBLE what your predecessor spent, if not more. Obama's spending hasn't even begun to get close to the mountains of money the Republicans burn through at every opportunity.

Yes.

And if the Republicans ever get back into power, the terrorists WILL NOT be treated like common criminals any more. They'll be treated like the military heroes the right believes them to be, and given all the rights and privileges of an officer in the United States military!

Bush Derangement Syndrome is something folks who hate Bush have.

Gore Derangement Syndrome is something folks who believe in Global Warming have.

Obama Derangement Syndrome is something Obama has when he thinks his policies will work.

I almost enjoy Hero's posts - he knows he has nothing, so he just tries to make nonsensical humor.

Alas, neocons have no sense of humor, so it always falls flat.

That's a pretty cool mystery. I wonder if the missing band has anything to do w/ the meteor impacts from '94 and '09. I'm guessing not, simply because those were a bit further "south" from the missing band, but they got pretty big butterflies on Jupiter, I'm told....
