Please.

If they do manage to install a new government in any of these countries which isn't a US puppet dictator, the very *FIRST* thing they need to do is procure a nuke - since that is the only effective hedge against american imperial aggression, and everybody damn well knows it.

There's also being semi-defenseless with a wrecked infrastructure, which tends to draw such aggression as well.

Come to think of it, given our conduct over the past decade, I suggest we change the american bird from the eagle... to the vulture.
It'd be more appropriate.

"America loves war and bombing brown people" Oh, bullshit: America keeps thinking it can stick its nose in to create more "freedom" or "democracy" or "fairness" or whatever in the world, and ends up screwing things up even worse."

This "policeman of the world" thing is pure trash; we do it badly and shouldn't be doing it as much as we do, if at all, until we mature and learn HOW to do it right...if then.

But bombing brown people? Bah...we just pay more attention to others than brown people, or we'd be "doing our thing" in countries which are TRULY devastate, like some in Africa.

American GOVERNMENT loves to prop up regimes, make money from oil, play king-maker and create siuations where their contractors can profit immensely, yup. Sometimes Carlin is right on; other times he is so far out in left field it's a wonder he doesn't fall off the stage.

Tho' I do love his "not good at anything else, can't make a decent car (etc.) to save our lives, but we can bomb the shit out of YOUR country!"

A lot of his other material, too, like “I have this dumb thing I like to do; I think”, the bit about Americans rolling over on command, “I leave symbols to the symbolminded” (something you could learn from him, Wulf), “war is a lot of prick waving, a whole lot of men, standing out in a field, waving their pricks at one another---men are insecure about the size of their dicks, so they have to kill one another over the idea” (the visual on that made me spit my ice tea), “i8t’s called dick fear...men are terrified their dicks are inadequate...so they have to compete with one another...and since war is the ultimate competition, basically men are killing one another in order to improve their self-esteem”. Oh, RIGHT ON! “..the Bigger-Dick Foreign Policy at work”...”and of course the bombs and the rockets and the bullets are all shaped like dicks; it’s a subconscious need to projet their dicks into other people’s affairs, it’s called fucking with people.”.

Sorry, I’m transcribing his entire monologue, but aside from the “brown people” bullshit, he does such GREAT, right-on material!
