"We'll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false." -- William Casey, Reagan's presidential campaign manager & CIA Director (from first staff meeting in 1981)

Quote:

Rightwing rock fans at a nationalist music festival in eastern Germany were taken by surprise when souvenir T-shirts they were given were emblazoned with a secret anti-extremist message.

The slogan on the shirts first read "hardcore rebels" along with a skull and nationalist flags. But once the T-shirts were washed, the tagline turned into a message from a group offering to help far-right extremists break away from the neo-Nazi scene.

"If your T-shirt can do it, you can do it too – we'll help you get away from right-wing extremism," reads the slogan on the shirts after their first washing.

I almost didn't click b/c it sounded like a PN title.

There's no need to 'break away' from the TEA party rallies. Folks who go there are there because they want to be. They're not forced there, on buses, like the union thugs do, for the Left wing rallies.

But I can see how folks on the Left might think like this. Since YOUR side tends to be the more violent and oppressive, it's only natural that you'd assume the same for the other side.

Hate to break the news to ya, but your party is founded on astroturf, where as the TEA party is grass roots.

I hope those who bought those shirts can get their $ back, if they want. Deception and false advertising clearly has found a home in the Left wing.

That's fantastic, what a great idea! The t-shirts become useless for the reason they were purchased, and I'll bet they never wear them again! Lotsa car-wash rags running around now, no doubt...

I've never heard any allegation that progressives were in any way "forced" onto, or "forced" to attend rallies. Would that be some kind of projecting on your part, perhaps? Accusing others of what you know your side does? ;)

You mean like assuming that we're all being forced to attend rallies and forced onto the bus? That kind of assumption?

Not even a little bit.

Thanks for showing so clearly how ignorant you truly are, Rappy. Didn't read the article at all, did you?

These shirts weren't sold - they were GIVEN AWAY. FREE.

Again, not sold - GIVEN AWAY. This group paid for the shirts entirely out of their own pockets. One of the idiot right-wingers claimed that they had wasted thousands of euros of taxpayer money on them, but that isn't even a little bit true, since the costs were paid for exclusively through private donations.

DREAMTROVE

nice trick, the use of terms like "right wing"

Tea party is blacker than you think, there are more blacks at my local tea party rally than at either major party. I think this is actually because so many blacks are christians, and libertarians, and not a lot else is going on.

The Tea Party seems to be supporting Herman Cain, who is not going to get a lot of black votes, and they know that. Perhaps the country has evolved beyond race. Perhaps its time that this forum joined the rest of the country by doing so.

So, saying this.. "I hope those who bought those shirts can get their $ back, if they want." is meant to push buttons - how, exactly?
*edit* Shirts weren't sold, under false pretenses, as I erroneously thought, but given away. Got it. Clever joke, I suppose. How useful it'll be, we'll just have to wait and see.

So, you're all for freedom of speech, just as long as it's speech you agree with, correct?

Glad we got that cleared up.

You've never heard of unions busing their members to rallies ? And mandatory dress codes, telling folks to all wear the same shirts, or else ? You've never heard of that Kwickie ? I think you're lying. And you know you are.

It's not an assumption in the least on my part. It's S.O.P. for the unions to do exactly that.

And you're right. I didn't read the article. 'Given away' shirts, actually IS quite clever.

Problem is, one has to assume that those shirts will be WASHED in the first place.

No, I've never heard of unions FORCING people onto buses and FORCING them to attend such rallies, which is what you claimed. I know you're lying, and you've just admitted it.

So, if you've never heard of it, it must not have happened.

Got it.

But I'm not lying, nor have I admitted as such.

Thanks for playing.

I've never heard of it, which means it may or may not have ever happened.

You've shown no evidence that it HAS happened, though, and it's your allegation that it has.

Put up or shut up.
