Actually, there's been forums that have chased PN out. He's here because we're unmoderated, which none of us really wants to change.

*shrug*

PN actually doesn't post the most shocking or gross out pictures I've ever seen, he's pretty tame. I mean, I've talked to guro fetishists before, and since then I get weirded out by meathooks (you do NOT want to know). And I've never even been on the bad imageboards, which are exponentially worse than probably anything *I've* seen or heard of.

BTW this airshow massacre has been top news all weekend on every TV network and daily newspaper, same photos and videos. Which the dicktaters will use to kill off private aviation, which is soon to be hit with massive increase in user taxes (so-called "jet tax" that hits every $5,000 50-year-old worn-out POS prop-plane). Would you feel safe being forced to drive a 50-year-old car on a freeway with only 50-year-old cars?

PN makes some interesting points here that make me think alaska might still be a good option for some of us. They get a lot of hand-outs up there, I know, and most of their politicians are really corrupt and there's the whole oil industry thing.

But on the other hand, they don't regulate private airplanes as much because most everyone in the south-east islands owns one just to get around (cars are pretty much worthless, only two of the towns in the southeast can even be accessed by roads).

And, you don't have to pay property tax if any of the buildings on your property are still under construction. Lots of people keep their homes under construction indefinitely.

Hello,

That would have been a boon to my father. He started construction on an addition and renovation to his home before Hurricane Andrew. Then construction prices shot out of reach, and it became an eternal project. He only finished it a couple of years ago.

He'd have liked to be free of taxes for that duration.
