Hello,

I was browsing for books about the economy and came across this listing. This is not the first time I've seen an Amazon.com listing with a suspicious price. Perhaps it is priced for some kind of anticipated inflation?

I wonder how this happens. Normally I assume a misplaced decimal point, but that doesn't explain this one.

Update: Maybe a decimal IS to blame.

I just noticed the 'original list price' was $2,995.00

Which should probably be $29.95

It's the 'Amazon Discount' that created a weird final figure.

I am going to be a thousand years old this July and as you can imagine someone that age is bound to have a wrinkle or two and recently my husband Bruce has lost all interest in sex so I have been quite depressed. Then last month I started looking into things that would give me eternal youth, sadly I found no way of creating the philosopher's stone as my knowledge of alchemy is rather limited. I then tried Elizabeth Báthory's method of bathing in the blood of virgins, sadly it didn't work but the bathing thing made me think of Cleopatra and her milk baths and that's when I ordered hundreds of gallons of this Tuscan Whole Milk. I have been bathing regularly in the milk for a few weeks now and I can already see a difference, my skin is now as smooth as that of the virgins I slaughtered and Bruce has had to be put on a leash. On the downside I do smell of sour milk which is why this is only getting four stars and not five.
