Republicans are so quick to blame Obama for everything WRONG, how about now? Not that I have any expectations, but wouldn't it be wild if even ONE of them gave Obama credit for ANYTHING good?

Shall I contrast all that (and there's more) with how the PUBLIC sector and all the rest of us are doing? Obama was right; the economy isn't doing great and has a long way to go, but "the private sector is doing fine".

"We'll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false." -- William Casey, Reagan's presidential campaign manager & CIA Director (from first staff meeting in 1981)

Rick Perry will scramble to take credit for GM adding shifts in their Texas plant, while decrying the auto bailout.

And the GOP will agree with him, of course. And then Romney will take credit for it as well.

And Scott Brown will say that he meets with the King and Queen of GM and the Prime Minister of Texas daily... ;)

"The Obama campaign is going to be running an ad, titled “Jobs,” in several key swings states. The ad, however, does not propose the president’s new jobs plan and it does not trumpet his sterling economic record.
Neither exists. "

WHOZIT

GM adds a 3rd shift in TX, so what. They stopped building;

Pontiac

Saturn

Hummer

Oldsmobile

Saab was sold to the Dutch

Adding a 3rd shift in TX doesn't mean the company is returning to it's former glory, GM stock use to be one of the best stocks you could own.

Hee, hee, hee; hook baited, fish LANDED. As for his first post:

FauxNews
FauxNews
Third cite: A total lie, "Other than bailing out bondholders what exactly do we have to show for any of it? The one-word answer is "debt".

National Review...article starts out "Conservatives have correctly declared President Obama’s $787 billion “stimulus” a floppop". Of course they have; but it's not true. If one checks the home page of National Review, it's pretty obvious which way they're bent. The article is also from 2009

The next one posts a graph of "Federal Deficits With and Without Iraq War", which shows that the "Without Iraq" amount is exactly the same as it was under Bush (but the Iraq War spending was higher under Bush), and then goes on to quote FauxNews. Duh.

Second post:

We've been over the fact that the White House pays women less than men. I certainly agree the President should be right in there, checking the pay of every member and fixing the problem, rather than dealing with the SERIOUS problems in our country.

One might also note:
Quote:

President Obama’s top female White House aides earn more on average than their male counterparts, a reversal from the pattern in the George W. Bush administration, The Washington Times found in an analysis of 2011 pay records.

Top female employees on average earned nearly 4 percent more than top male employees under Mr. Obama, compared with a deficit of 12 percent under Mr. Bush. http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2012/apr/30/obama-pays-a-few-women
-big-bucks/
]

I didn't bother beyond that. Rather a poor attempt, in my opinion.

As an aside; GM doing away with lines that weren't performing would probably be part of their restructuring, and has NOTHING to do with their current state or that they're hiring workers.
