"We'll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false." -- William Casey, Reagan's presidential campaign manager & CIA Director (from first staff meeting in 1981)

"Biden breaks form, finally tells truth. For once. "

Which puts him well ahead of Mittens.

"I supported Bush in 2000 and 2004 and intellegence [sic] had very little to do with that decision." - Hero

"I was wrong" - Hero, 2012

Mitt Romney, introducing his running mate: "Join me in welcoming the next President of the United States, Paul Ryan!"

Rappy's response? "You're lying, gullible ( believing in some BS you heard on msnbc ) or hard of hearing."

What does he mean by that? Biden says there's never been a day in the last four years he hasn't been proud to be Obama's VP...so what? I don't get it...

Tit for tat got us where we are today. If we want to be grownups, we need to resist the ugliness. If we each did, this would be a better reflection on Firefly and a more welcome place. I will try.

It sounds like he said "There’s never been a day in the last four years I’ve been proud to be his Vice President." But Politico reports that he said "haven't" and that's what it sounded like live. Okay. But if you watch his lips I just don't see the "n't" spoken. I don't hear it either. Maybe there's a non-biased lip reader here who can confirm one way or t'other.

Poor rappy, getting so petulent as he watches Mitt's house of cards tumble.

Note to anyone - Please pity the poor, poor wittle Rappyboy. He's feeling put upon lately, what with all those facts disagreeing with what he believes.

Jong, dear, exactly how does one "read" an "n't"? It's made with the tongue on the roof of the mouth, in't it? Wouldn't one have to see INSIDE the mouth to see it?

It's speech pattern, nothing more. It was pretty obvious to me anyway, and matched all the rest of Biden's speech pattern.

I guess anyone can see/hear what they want to, but exactly how important is it? Obviously we know what he meant, so the very best you can do is call it a "gaffe", which I don't think it was. Certainly not Biden "speaking the truth", which is nothing but sad in how desperate it shows Rap to be...

Pretty simple, really. He said he was never proud.

I think he means it.

Funny to see the myrmidons try and spin it into something it never was.

But I get that. I really do.

That makes as much sense, and is as close to honesty, as anything you've ever posted.
