There is lots and lots of discussion that is old and lots of new discussion is not a bumped thread

I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

I personally like to look into the past. Also, like to re-read my old posts. Gratified to see that I'm generally on topic and reasonable, unless I'm being surrounded by internet bullies and I pop a cork.

Also, many times worthwhile discussions get broken into many pieces bc it's too much trouble to find the original posts, so ppl - including me - just create a new one. But I think that feeds into "goldfish memory": people forget what they posted and they never get a chance to review what they thought "then" and how they might have, or should, self-correct.

My only request is that the addenda be on the same topic, not sideways.

What I dislike is THUGR coming in and bumping 20 of his pointless threads every 10 days or so. He's the only contributor. CLEARLY ppl aren't interested in his endless tik tok threads which are way past their " sell by" dates! But that's what the scroll button is for.

PS: I always defended PN, even if he was nuttier than a fruitcake. There was truth in what he posted.
