I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

Sounds like either a porno movie or one of those "survival against all odds" TV shows.

But it's not. Apparently somebody wants us to believe that six yahoos exploded 3 of 4 Nordstream pipelines in the cold Baltic sea over 200 ft down.

Not so much that someone came up with such an OBVIOUSLY risible story, but that the NYT's version starts to thrown Ukraine under the bus."It's not that we think Zelenskiy had anything to do with it..." the article suggests "..but then those Ukies keep us in the dark and do stupid shit like assassinating people and blowing up bridges and striking into Russian territory".

The funny thing is, as I recall, Kiev never officially took credit for any of that, and here the NYT is openly accusing them.

Here any protests from Kiev?

Maybe they dived down and hit it with a big stick and hammer, you know very simple move no narcosis they are super-mega ultra solider maybe Ukraine is building super mutants like Hulk, Superman, Aquaman or Namor... they can just dive down No problems with crush forces or freezing exposure, cold waters dragging you away or Bubbles in Blood or nitrox mix or Nitrogen, or Decompression sickness or weak divers usually schedule a short "safety stop" at 3 to 6 m 10 to 20 ft they are just super people and the Football Soccer Hooligan can just punch the pipelines creating Magnitude shockwaves with their fists detected across multiple countries?

maybe they didnt need to dive they just chucked something, 6 patriot football soccer hooligans on an expensive Ukraine yacht, on vacation in the cold freezing Baltic Sea chucked some Molotov cocktail hand thrown incendiary weapon...

Ukraine does not connect with that sea, if they used a boat did they put the boat on top of a small car or maybe their back, lifted the boat above their head and walk all the way across Romania, Slovakia, Poland and to Berlin and finally to the Baltic sea or maybe they sailed across the Mediterranean and Atlantic on a long Christoper Columbus type voyage to find a pipe to defeat and conquer...or maybe during the refugee flood into Poland people fleeing war they were able to lift the boat or yacht, carry it physically across the roads and mountains?

The USA did it, SECOND.

What was interesting was that Seymour Hirsch's article may have put Biden* in a bad light but, really, most Americans don't care. It may affect USA relations with other nations but it won't hurt his chances for re-election.

But it REALLY put Scholz' nuts in a vise. I don't think it's any coincidence that this story (which is laughable on its face) came out in a coordinated release in at least three mainstay publications in three nations (NYT, Die Welt, and a mainstay British one, possibly FT) two days after Scholz and Biden* met super-privately, no aides, no press release, no reporters, no interpreters, no staff, no trade delegates... and I think Biden* told Scholz they were coming up with this story to scramble the blame and throw Ukraine under the bus, not just for this but also for "losing the war".

And then he probably broke the news that the USwants to memory -hole Ukraine, and turn to China as the next chaos-producing move. ((BTW Germany was China's biggest trading partner, not the USA.)

Like Henry Kissinger said "It may be dangerous to be America's enemy, but to be America's friend is fatal."

Or like Victoria Nuland said "Fuck the EU".
