Jordan Neely's death was justified. It's sad that it happened, but you don't go around in a subway car shouting and people that you want to die and you don't care if you go to jail.

The self-righteous pussy that wrote this article never got his ass beat down and probably would benefit from a good ass whooping.

I had a guy look me right in the eyes once and tell me he was going back to jail tonight. He wasn't wrong. But he didn't go back until after I was beaten down by him and three of his friends within an inch of my life so hard that I didn't realize I was bleeding from the back from a knife wound until I was a few miles away from where it happened.

A threat is a threat. You'd better be the baddest motherfucker on the subway car if you're going to behave like that. And if you're not, then I hope you really meant it when you said that you don't care if you die, because when the cops have had one hand tied behind their back since George Floyd's death, and the CDC made half the world crazy with lockdowns, there's going to be a lot more incidents like this one going forward.

Keep your fucking mouth shut in public if you've got nothing nice to say.

This would not have ended with homicide if Mr. Penny had some real fighting skills. I keep forgetting that most people don't know how to disable a person in a fight without killing them. Movies and TV shows depend on audiences being ignorant of how it is actually done. You know in the Serenity movie that the Operative used his, or rather profoundly ignorant Joss Whedon's, "pinch of paralysis" to disable Dr. Mathias at the institute where River Tam was a prisoner. The Operative tried that same "pinch" trick on Malcolm Reynold's love handles, but it didn't work. That is because the pinch is as unreal as the "Vulcan Pinch of Death" on Star Trek, but there are real ways to disable people without killing them. The easiest one to learn is a punch in the Solar Plexus. Even small children, at least the ones who get into fights, know this one, learning by accident. Then there are even less chivalrous methods such as a knee into their crotch.

After thought: Movies and TV shows don't demonstrate how easy it is to really disable a person without killing them because the Executive Producers don't want to be sued when people who watch a show are using the real techniques. Also, the real techniques aren't cinematically dramatic. It looks like you are fighting dirty when your opponent falls down after only two seconds. Stretch things out for the camera because the episode is 45 minutes long.
