Not an easy life beat and abused by Ike Turner aka Izear Luster "Ike" Turner Jr an insane violent man with his cocaine & booze addiction, the Turners got into a violent altercation en route to their gig at Dallas Statler Hilton, the relationship broke, the night she left, his beating left her face bruised, swollen, and bleeding. Vibe magazine ranked the character of Ike Turner from What's Love Got to Do with It at No. 4 in their list of the 20 best movie "bad guys" Tina told Larry King in 1997: "I would have liked them to have more truth, but according to Disney [owner of the film's production company], they said it's impossible, the people would not have believed the truth."
She was born Anna Mae Bullock and kept her stage name after the Divorce.
Great Bond theme, not the best actress but had performance and maybe under rated as an actress, a cult following in the film Tommy 'Acid Queen' crazy, funny role in that Arnie Last Action Hero film and a very good watch in Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome.
